The Eagle GT without the +4 designation is rated as an all season... They do okay in the snow. They are great rain tires though, and dry too. The 17" I have are a Z rated high speed radial. They are kinda sticky.


Basically tire manufactures just have to come out with something "new" every year in hopes you spend more $$$MONEY$$$ even if your tires are still good.

 

no, Ive the window open / 65F/ 18C... Some light cold the other night ,, purposed frost, I didnt see it..

I left one of Buster sisters out there, not very big but I want to see how far I can get it.. try and leave it til first snow..

yeah we get cold and snow, and super cold as fuck sometimes,, but not for very long..

4th guy didnt show up so i went to a farther walmart and finally found some decent new shoes in my size...wide would have been better but apes cant be choosy

 

last month I bought 2 new pairs of running shoes on the same day....a pair was 100 dollar sketchers and one pair was 30 dollar walmarts....the Walmart ones started to fall apart after 2 weeks....the toe is peeling back from the rest of the shoe....my nikes lasted over a year before they did that...the sketchers are still holding up.....no more Walmart crap for me

did you get the dr scholl inserts that come free in some shoes there?...those inserts are 25 dollars just for them but they didn't have any in my size with the inserts

 

the shoes were scholls..didnt notice any inserts...usually i get cheaper ones around $35 but if i dont get some before the back to school people buy everything i cant get my size

the $35 ones usually last me a long time..

for some reason I do not like black running shoes....I bought both pairs in royal blue this time...the first pair you posted are the ones I wanted and they only had big sizes and small sizes...no size 10s in most of the shoes there

I usually buy white nike air with the silver/grey swoosh and blue trim....but..i saw several older guys wearing them so I decided not to get them this time

i like black because the dirt doesnt show and the snow melts faster

My sister is room mates with a MS patient. They texted me in a panic because their dogs got into her weed. These dogs are so massive it didn't even phase them because it was "one nugget". But they were sure they had to go to a vet and admit what happened. I don't think my dog would do that. She is kind of a picky eater lucky for me. If anything she might associate the smell with me and she would never eat me.....I hope. Maybe if I died she could eat my corpse. I have heard dogs will do that.

I just bought some face shields off a American fishing store. Buy one get four free. So I did. they like bandanas and sunproof, windoroof etc. something you hunt in. So I got orange with a black skull looks better than sounds, black with skull outline. Rebel flag nebula galaxy (pretty colors) and a clown.

 

Back lawn is now mowed and whacked. yay! Dog has also been washed.

 

I made it....57 today ....

I have done absolutely nothing productive today. I'm trying to decide where ALL to go look for resonable little to medium size dog houses for that little big-foot Gimli (cat) to stay in when it gets cold or rains, which to me cold weather is right around the corner. Of course I will be putting blankets in there or whatever to keep the inside of the dog house warm. A friend of mine told me her outside cats (that also refuse to come in) like it when she puts cedar chips in their little dog houses the most. I'll probably put those in there too IF and WHEN I find the right house for my big footed stubborn but sweet Gimli.

Gimli's little strange butt has found this OLD doghouse from almost 20 yrs ago, that is just outside the fence and God only knows what reason he likes this hidden scary place. The other night when it had been raining, he came running out of it in the morning when I called him. It is half broke down, ivy covered and floor rotted out. Hell I'm scared to get real close to it since it looks like it would be inhabited with snakes AND possums AND raccoons. good grief. It is just not dang safe for him!

I have a nice medium size dog kennel set up for him right now in the back yard - complete with blankets and EVERYTHING. I've pushed him in it, talked sweetly and stroked him into it (for about 2 seconds) before he dashes out, I've even put food in there. NO GO.

My "productive activity" today has all been mental. lol My excuse is I'm still recovering from the 2nd part of my root canal yesterday. Dentists give NO DRUGS anymore. lol Nitrous while you're going through it is all. oh well

Tomorrow I have about 100 things to do.

That is the way my life always has worked...ALWAYS. It is days (or long spells) of nothing...literally nothing. Then BAM!!! Lots of things to do, places to go, things to buy etc.

 

I wondered how you made out with Hurricane Matthew, while it was happening. Did you get alot of rain?
North Carolina is going through hell with the aftermath of the flooding now....People have died due to that and can't move back to their houses...pretty sad in that state right now.

 

Something on my desk did a half circle turn by itself just as I was getting ready to sit down earlier tonight, and I had not touched my desk,....no wind coming from my movement to turn it. It was scary. I was like what the hell? poltergeist? I started thinking one of my cats may have died, as Crusher was nowhere to be found until later.....when he finally did come home. At first, i thought he was communicating with me, and was gone in this world and into another dimension....funny how the mind works when things do not make sense. ...but Crusher came home, finally.....Yay! I was so happy to see him....but still cannot figure out why that thing turned half circle by itself on my desk....weird....
