I had my uncle growing some off cut of the plant I need to build my front hedge. I planted them. :) they're cute. I can't remember if I posted that earlier but I was happy because really these are the first plants I think I've planted myself for myself.

We just got back from our longest run in a long time. 21mins. 3.5k steps. I dunno if it's easier or harder with the dog. I think it's slower in a sense but also in ways he makes you run harder too but I find at the half way stage he starts to back down to my pace. Guess he gets sick of strangling himself. But off the mark he's out the gates quick!

This should make me feel a touch better since I drank and ate all weekend. Now I get to wash my hair. :) and water my plants. Did I tell about my plants? :)

I used to be able to run 5K in about 21 or 22 minutes. I am sure I could not do that anymore. But the 6 minute mile was the benchmark for being varsity cross country in my high school. The cheerleaders had to come to the meet we had at the school and I don't think they cared for it. Standing on the side of the road and seeing a runner once is not the same as a football game. Every other week than that was on the road. The captain of the team hated me and told me I "ran wrong". I still don't know what he meant. Could it be that I have not been doing this since freshman year like you and I show up out of the blue and I am faster and that just pisses you off? The idea to run the course as fast as possible right?

Miles were under 4 min. I think at the last Olympics. I am really not that quick. I was just high school quick.

i used to be able to run 1.5 miles in 12 min 30 sec. never could shave any more off my speed. i bet even now, if i just ran all-out for 12:30, i will have gone pretty fucking close to 1.5 miles.

i splooshed hot soup on my hand while making dinner. sucks. but the soup is tasty. finished 2 projects of the same type today. one sling for a gift, and one that just needed its rings sewn in for me. the friends really need it (moreso the baby, she REALLY needs the second-hand benefits) and mine will be way more comfortable now. i have so many things to get done.
tomorrow is for getting the kitchen under control, and the living room (which is mostly baby toy mess, so a hassle, but not hard to clean up) and the dining table. but i have a mountain of projects awaiting done-ness. shit never changes around here.

I've done over 20,000 steps today. :) so I relax in the bath with a can of Woodstock. :) pretty sure I earned one. I mowed the front lawn and hopefully that's it for winter. Stupid bird though, came eating worms so I chased it with the lawn mower. It didn't like it but then like, now it just sits on the grass eating. :D Atreyú though, Laura asked him to chase it so he pounced at it. We gave him a congratulatory good boy so he knows to keep chasing it. :) which could be interesting next walk/run. though it did leave us alone this evening. But then again it's night time. So tomorrow just need to weed whack a bit and then that's all sorted for the front and I'll tidy backyard up on weekend. We went to a rubbish dump yesterday to throw some things out we'd been meaning to for 2.5 years. :D finally! And all the cardboard from our lounge.

It doesn't look big here. Or if it does it makes the room look small which it really does. It's so comfortable though. We've watched two movies since. :)

Irmi, I have had a thought or 2 about your crow relative that is so interested in you and y'all's yard, and Big A...

I know you think highly of Odin, if I'm not mistaken. I'm sure you know he had 2 ravens and from what I gather he quite liked them...used them in war and was scared they wouldn't come back (if I'm remembering correctly). Why he even gave them ability to speak! (Is this why ravens can talk even now?)

This could be one of his messengers...just to see how ya doin'

Of course it could be nothing...but I like thinking Odin is sending you a HEY THERE GURL message better. :)

Huginn & Muninn are their names. :) and I did think of that. I have to read to see if they migrate anywhere during seasons or if it's going to make its home here. I think it's decided we aren't so much of a threat though the boy got a swipe this morning after I mowed the lawn. I really just think now that my lawn has super juicy yummy worms and because it appears to be it's feeding grounds.

We had what we called a rabbit. One guy would sprint for the first half mile. The problem with doing that is you get gassed too soon and can't keep a good pace for the rest of the race. The sprint should be at the end of the race. So you can run a long distance race (wrong) innoficiantly. Of course I can't say if that's what he meant.

Huginn is "thought"... Muninn is "memory"

Huginn and Muninn fly each day
    over the spacious earth.
I fear for Huginn, that he come not back,
yet more anxious am I for Muninn.

Seems Odin was worried about dementia more than he was about losing his mind... a common worry among shamans.
