i dont know any crackheads...except for online

my car shifts like that...pedal to the floor and you upshift manually...it gets boring quick...its an automated manual ...computer automatically clutches and shifts using servo motors

it downshifts on its own...very handy for tailgaters..brakes last long because the engine braking is excellent if you plan it right

Our lounge came. :) it's so comfortable I love it. It is huge though lol and now encompasses our living room but it's so worth it you can just flop anywhere and get comfortable. I think it's my new bed too. :)

I fell asleep on the couch the other day, and my back still hurts.

It is raining so if I had waited 24 hours I would not have needed to buy water… Dammit oh well whatever…

I am in line at the boat… I will hit the downtown area and do some shopping… I have a list of like 30 things and if I come away with 10 of them I'll be happy… I put stars beside the important things like drops from my dogs ears… They seem to be bothering him lately…

And Dijon mustard do not forget the Dijohn mustard….

Water filters… To really find ones…

When we were kids my sister hated pets. When she moved out with her husband she hated pets. When she visited relatives with pets she had nothing good to say about them. Now 35 years after I first knew she hated pets she is adopting a cat. To give you an idea of just how much she hated animals...my nephew still says he will believe it when he sees it.

We had little snooze on the couch. :) I was at friends house this evening and they have two racing simulators set up. Omg. They were awesome and totally shits over my crappy stock car racing sim. :D except. These were all European sports car sims and the stock car sims didn't feel anywhere as good as what I okay they just looked 24x better. We are going back over in the morning to watch the Forumla 1 which is in Japan.

I just got a huge huge hunger sickness pain where I feel hungry I think and like you lose that blood sugar spike or it spikes and makes your sickly starving I call it. I just got that right now. =[

So, I've got all 4 wheels for the Woodhauler trailer now. Yesterday I picked up a piece of used expansion metal for the bed where I extended it, I'll have some left over. It was $2.00 at the ReStore. I got another bed frame for free today from the other ReStore. Gonna make sides with the extra metal pieces.

The wheels are the only parts that cost "real money"... all the rest is scrap, used, re-purposed stuff and a box of welding rods. It will have a guesstimated 2000 pound hauling capacity not including the trailer itself. I doubt very much I'll fit a ton of wood on this thing, so it's major overkill which was the original plan.

Still debating what I'm gonna do about tires for the car...

I have mocked up fitting a full size spare in the back. Something I had planned back when it was a weekend "show car". The spare tire well doesn't fit a full size tire, completely, but one does sit in there... Just not all the way down so the factory plastic cover can go over it. The "show car" idea is to make a wooden floor, like a '57 Nomad or the old pickup trucks had, that is cut out to show the spare. The spare in this case is an aluminum "mag" like is on the car... (besides tires I need an extra wheel, but they are available) I hate those crappy little mini spare tires with a passion....

The way the mock-up looks the full size tire only sits above the level of the floor by about an inch and a half, maybe two inches. So if I have to haul something I can toss my custom cut carpet over the whole deal and not fuck anything up. The show part of the wooden floor is going to be Armstrong interlocking flooring, like you would put in a house. I've got two boxes of that stuff. Probably installed over some plywood where the spare sits. It's also installed over the back of the back seats which are always folded down so it's wooden floor from the back gate to the front seats. (It's possible I may remove the back seat entirely and build a storage space for the jack and tools there. The Panel HHR is setup this way.) I can use metal transition strips, like used where carpet meets wood flooring for the metal bars used between the boards in the old pickup truck beds.

    Kinda like this...

The only part I haven't sorted out yet is I need some sort of round metal ring for the edge of the cutout around the spare tire....
