Mostly you need to take whatever I'm ranting about with a grain of salt, I think is the expression. I'm just having some light hearted fun about the bird.

I understand the moon expression now. Hehe. Never seen the show but I must have either seen or heard that expression probably from Family Guy or something.

I like o leave the foil on the top of the peanut butter an just peel it back enough to be able to start digging down one side being careful as to not unpeel too much of the foil causing the tinfoil to crease and become askew....so if any of you make a peanut butter sandwich at my house I would like you to follow this protocol

I have others but lets start slow ;)

i have to have all my paper money facing the same way

i used to arrange them by serial number but managed to stop doing that...keys always had to have the teeth the same way unless they were double cut..the double cut had a different ring to go on

i feel more naked without a hat than i do without clothes

As much as I tease you, Irmi, about wanting Big A to be able to use your grass as he wants....I totally respect your desire to keep a nice yard and all that. Plus, even though I know in my head (and from reading) that a GSD pretty much loves and needs discipline...I'd be the loose, bad parent that let him get away with almost anything (more like your Laura). I would want him to heed what I said; but, I would understand if he didn't just snappy quick hop up and do it. :D

All that being said...I absolutely totally agree with what goes on in this yard will ultimately be what I SAY! If it is something that I don't want to happen...I'm going to try my damnest to stop whatever from happening. Such as: I HATE SNAKES...therefore, I have an outside cat. I would say I have 2; but I've come to find out Princess could not care less about hunting or doing a thing to any snakes, unless they were to happen across her majestic path...and THEN she might do something. However, Gimli (Big Foot) is all about getting something and killing it (taking it apart.) I LOVE that little big footed cat!

I should correct what I said about and add - what goes on in this yard will be what I say and what I can't stop Mama from doing. smh

He gets the lawn still. :) if I see him pee on it I just throw a bucket of water over it. :) I'm not all like, devalue him or really cruel like that and the sudden absence from the backyard made me just take him to the front yard which is a lot bigger etc. but that's where we've met the recent bird. :D

I also wouldn't mind building a small little vegetable garden in the backyard and I can now that I can secure the dog off that grass so next warm season I might start growing my own vegetable. :)

It's all fructose syrup so definitely not "good" for you.

For what its worth I'm hoping well ahead of time that if you do make a "small little vegetable garden" it does much better than mine did. good grief.

From 4 tomato plants down to 2 and one of the 2 produced a total of 4 tomatoes...the smallest tomato being the size of a golfball. lol The other rather large tomato plant wound up producing (GET THIS!) 7 or 8 tomatoes! This tomato plant has 4 large branches, all with tomatoes on it (2 per large, long branch). I have 2 6ft stakes attached and 2 tall cages it runs through for support. I'm trying to contain my enthusiasm. (insert eyeroll)

Even though I said this WAY earlier, in another thread - my originally 4 pepper plants turned into 3 plants. They were beginning to produce some...then one fine evening - overnight every single dang thing was stripped completely OFF the pepper plant stalk. That is what I had the next morning...a bare stalk. smh

So I wish you luck for next year if you want to do that.
