I've had my eye on the new F-150 lately. They come with a turbo v6 now which is cool for me. But actuly hauling anything with a motor like that would probably kill my MPG and some current owners are having problems with the motor. But I know I can't buy a Chevy.

This is the biggest fact I can't get over right now:

On the current/new tv show, Lethal Weapon, the actor Kevin Rahm, Officer something.. Looks Exactly like young James Spader,

I love to see harm reduction places like that. Treat drugs as a health issue and not a criminal one and it works better for the addicts.

I always got told if you see a bear you need to make yourself as big as possible so to stand with your arms point up over your head to increase how tall you are and if bear sees you taller than itself it will back down. I don't think I'll try that if I see a bear though, I'm just going to run and climb a tree and see what I can do. and when it climbs to get me I'll pounce on that bastard with my thumbs in its throat and there'll be stories about me, Jocelyn and the Bear. And I'll win of course.

 

I wish I was smarter at computers I'd design my own application of a pool table. Blank table, you paste the balls and scenarios yourself, kinda like just an overhead view you know? If describing a table. Maybe even take a photo of the table on your phone and set algorithms up to place the balls on the diagram just like in the photo...

But nope, I'm using a pen and paper BUT printed out overheads of the pool table so now I can keep a sheep with me and when someone tries to explain it, they can draw it all up on my sheet.

 

Totally. Vancouver has been leading the way in terms of harm reduction for drug users for a long time. Hopefully the rest of Canada takes notice and some of these programs get adopted elsewhere.

I've actually been thinking of applying to a masters of public health program so that I can do my research on harm reduction practices in small towns and rural areas in Canada. It is basically what I did my undergraduate research on too.

 

I want to get some bear bells to attach to the baby carrier for when we go hiking this fall. I was thinking of getting bear spray too, but I've heard that it doesn't actually work, and can sometimes piss the bear off more and make them attack you. Has anyone ever used it before?
