Im surprised ive not heard that skit before.. Ive not been hunting yet very much,, maybe a total of an two hours since opening last week.. have a couple bucks In the neighborhood. but I take what I take, those antlers dont mean anything to me. does are just as big if not bigger sometimes.. I have a brand new crossbow but Im not liking it. I can notch a quiver of arrows on a compound in a few minutes with a crossbow takes me over a minute to reload a single arrow. while it might be more precise .. I dont think im going to be using it outside my parking lot..

 

i was looking at my friends archery supply book just today....
quite a selection oftargets....even fish targets.....fullsizeb foam animals..only 700 dolars for a bear

I dont think I would shoot a bear. but I might if they was more abundant than they are here.. very short bear season here.. 3 days, 5days tops for archery i believe.. could be more in zoned areas. I get 3 days here and you be better stuck with lightning that see a bear..

 

I love most big game animals and would like to see them better protected, but hell yes I'd hunt one. Just one of each. I'd use it though or try to at least. I know it's wrong, but hunting game is just I dunno, it's spiritual to me. Me against nature. There's something about it.

some birds usually come and strip the apples off...i think they are some kind of cackle that travels in huge groups...they clear the tree so much the bears dont bother but this year the birds didnt show up

the cubs here now belong to the mama i posted yesterday or day before in the autumn thread

 

I know canada is a little more loose the usa, but i dont think you can just hunt them any time you want to.. your laws usually ahead ours by months.. we take our bears right before they burrow... but id think your bears would burrow in october, where ours is nov..

 

aug 15 to oct 31 in my area...plus a spring one just males in spring

Getting nervous for grand final today. I know even if I lose my game my team is good enough to win outright still, but I want to contribute. I need to contribute I'm not sure how I'd feel not winning a game but winning the final. Unless I just stay proud that I went 75% shooting in the finals.
