    Saw "The Girl with All The Gifts" which is a Zombie movie with a different twist to it. I don't like Zombie movies but my wife does and she enjoyed it (me not so much!). Certainly anyone who likes this genre will enjoy the different take on it.

    Last night went to see "The Magificent Seven" which wasn't a bad remake TBH and well worth going to see. However, being old fashioned, I still prefer the original.

    The Loved One, 1965

    A truly strange movie about the funeral business.
    An English dude's English uncle dies in L.A. so he goes to an upscale funeral parlor to make arrangements.
    There he meets and falls for Aimee Thanatogenos cosmetician, and also chief embalmer Mr. Joyboy.

    An episode of Dr. Who "Revelation of the Daleks" and Soylant Green were based on this movie.

    Back in the day while hiking in the Shenandoah Mountains, I ran into a cop who was at the "SLA barbecue", as he called it. Over 9,000 rounds were fired in the battle.

    So...during WWII an Italian teenager sleeps with three different GI's then after they leave she discovers she's pregnant. She doesn't know which one is the father so she individually tells them all, and for twenty years unbeknownst to each other they have been sending her checks each month to raise the child.
    Then they all show up in Italy on the same day.....pretty cute movie.
