How was Colonia? Did you enjoy it?

    I'm considering watching it tonight.

Savage Streets (1984) staring Linda Blair.

Lousy movie but some great nude scenes including Linda sitting in a tub naked [IMG]

Other than the Exorcist I didn't realize she had a movie career.

Don't Breathe - saw that over the weekend - interesting and different type of film. I ended up rooting for the old guy whereas my wife was rooting for the girl.

Jason Bourne - I thought was a decent film but not as good as the others - found it a little lacklustre.

Saw the remake of Ben Hurr - what garbage!!

Some films aren't meant to be tampered with - the original was way better

I was rooting for the young guy (I forget his name) who's dad worked for the security company. He was so kind, and really didn't deserve to be there, but his love for Rocky put him in that situation.

Anyways, I thought there was an excellent use of sound and music to create tension in that film. That scene in the basement where the lights go out was incredible. Everything was done right. I was also pleasantly surprised by the cinematography. The story had a few holes, but I'm willing to look past that because many things were done right.

Sign of a good film that 3 different people watched it and we're rooting for 3 different people!

Your guy was so smitten with that gal that he'd do anything for her!

Hell or High Water last night - good film but not as good as I was hoping for from all the reviews I'd read.

    When the Bough Breaks

Complete and utter shit. One of the most poorly edited films I have ever seen.

    Highly recommend.

That's too bad. Maybe you had very high expectations going in? I knew nothing about the film prior to watching it. I still stand by my words when I say it's the best movie I've seen this year. The writing was excellent, for one, and Ben Foster knocked it out of the park as the supporting actor.

I think you're right it was a good film but it'd been hyped up so much over here that I was expecting more than it delivered. It's certainly a good film and I thought well acted and had a very good story with some interesting moral dilemmas.

BTW - you're absolutely right about Ben Foster - he was brilliant!

Reviews coming in over here are mediocre, sadly. I think i'll go see it today anyway, though, as I can't ignore how excited I've been about this film for the last two weeks.

Oh yes, brilliant indeed. Have you seen Alpha Dog? Amazing film that I highly recommend.

Haven't seen or heard of it tbh. I'll check it out on Google and see if I can find it. Thx for the heads up on that.
