One of the most profound films I have seen this year, and the emotion I feel as a result of watching this film is all too real.

I wonder if there is a soul on this planet that wouldn't be able to relate to this film in some way.

Highly recommended.

 

The Babadook.

I watched it because I was in the mood for a horror movie, but it wasn't a horror movie at all - it was a metaphorical exploration of the grieving process.

It was good, not in the sense that it was enjoyable in any way to watch, but it made me feel very sad and I'm still thinking about it days later.

Its probably been a decade since i watched that movie.

 

Yeah same that's why I watched it. Which fancy dinner? The one at the start where they all get drunk? I like the other one about 2/3 through where they dock and have this huge fruit platter in front of them and the Lieutenant is staring at it like deeply in thought like, are you fucking kidding me, i'm down there and you're eating all this shit?

 

Yeah the one about 2/3 in. In my memory it was near the end. Such luxury and then those dirty exhausted grease monkeys from that submarine come in :-D
