Part of the problem is that this guy has no fucking clue what I'm saying.... I assume his english is better than google translator, but.... not much, and he's got nowhere to turn to. Here's what happens when you translate my last post to turkish, and back again:

It very much appears that them druggies have nothing to lose. Would you also care for some krokodil? I think you would get a nice high. Bring krokodil to Turkey, those who smoke synthetic weed will go for krokodil. unfortunetly we don't have krokodil in Turkey. maybe we should ask russians to bring some krokodil to Turkey for our druggies? Our druggies want to have a nice high, maybe ,it will give them a nicer high.

Yeah, druggies in Russia also go for the drug they want, KROKODIL! If Druggies could go for the drug they want, they would go for cocaine or something but it would be expensive. Synthetic weed is called poor man's heroin in Turkey. I am also not against to legalising real weed. Real weed is not any worse than alcohol. Its use is also as old as people's history. Cannabis was legal until 20th century. Cannabis was also used in ottoman empire. It's something that should be legal but I dont think synthetic weed should be legal. Real weed must be legalised. If real weed was legalised in Turkey, its quality would be so much better. Right now real weed's quality is so bad in Turkey, it doesn't make you high.

there are probably a million undiscovered molecules that target the cannabinoid receptors (CB1 and CB2). it's reasonable to expect that "some" of these may have unexpected targets at relevant dosages. it takes research and experiments to find this out. conservative drug laws just catalyze this process of innovation and insufficient research. does anyone know what i'm sayin' here? it's much safer to use a drug that's been around a while, the binding affinities are known plus all of it's quirks, but since governments think that it must ban drugs as soon as it's known they are psychoactive and being used then this doesn't give us sufficient time to determine these things, and instead it's on to the next one.

You're getting there, but you're not there yet.

Banning things doesn't help, it hurts. There will be some people who will use drugs you don't like, and it will only hurt them if you ban the drug, it can only make it more dangerous, and only hurt society more.

Krokodil is a result of drug laws, too - it's desomorphine, which works pretty much like any other opiate, except that it's used dirty, contaminated with all the by-products of it's manufacture. Know how you could save people from krokodil? Legalize plain ol' morphine - that doesn't mean that you should tell people to use it, of course you should tell people why they shouldn't use it - but telling them they CAN'T use it will only lead to dangerous work-around techniques like krokodil or "synthetic marijuana", which will be practiced by ignorant and desperate people with no consideration for safety.

Opium is very old too - and it causes horrible addiction, unlike weed - but making it illegal, even though it has the potential to do great harm, has only caused terrible drug problems, like dirty street heroin, and in the case of russia, krokodil, as a step even lower than heroin.

Once AGAIN: you don't have to like a given drug to understand that it should be legal, for a variety of reasons. Drugs should be legal because having them illegal causes harm, and more importantly, they should be legal because as a human you should have the right to use your brain how you want - if you want to take krokodil, or alcohol, or cannabis, or synthetic cannabinoids, you should be free to do that, because it's your body and your shot at life.

As to the reality of synthetic cannabis, here's some first-hand info:

I used several of the cocktail type commercial "incense" mixtures originally - I'd reckon I had JWH 018, 073, and 200. It's like cannabis, but somewhat sedated - you can feel the respiratory depression, like when you're very drunk and become very aware of how shallow your breath is. It's more sedating than cannabis, but not as sleep-inducing, if that makes sense. It's a duller feeling, and lasts longer - and tolerance builds very fast, after several doses (say, over the course of an evening) your dose will already have doubled.

It's also somehow very boring - and it makes other things boring and sluggish feeling, when cannabis makes everything great.

I sold JWH018 when it was legal, on inactive plant matter, with a full lecture about how nobody should ever take it, it could lead to bad things, what those bad things are, the fact that I'd never take it again, not for human consumption, not my fault if you take it or what you do on it, etc. Nobody ever complained about me selling them stronger mixtures, with greater transparency and honesty, and a little lecture, for cheaper - everyone was always grateful of the pro-transparency approach, and nobody ever had an ignorance-related mishap or freak-out with my stuff.

I still smoke cannabis with some of the people I sold JWH to - they have all stopped using that crap, just like I have - but me selling it to them and being honest with them about it didn't hurt them, and didn't make them continue their drug use - I'd guess it may have helped stop it, in fact. Simple prohibition, as both our governments use, has not stopped anyone, they play chemical cat and mouse games and various (even worse) mixtures are still available legally in stores - but me knowing a lot about drugs and supplying clean drugs and information and talking openly about my perception of drug use and the differences between drugs did help lead them to the choice to quit.

well, we've still got a lot of improvement to do. cannabis is still illegal in most places of the USA. but yeah, i expect it to happen everywhere eventually, especially when people see that none of the horrible things happen that they're expecting, and maybe things are just a little better when it's legal ;)

legalization is inevitable, at some point in the future. it's the only logical conclusion. swimming upstream is futile.

I got that point the first time you said it. I knew it long before you joined the forum.

What is your point for repeating it 18 bazzilion times in any thread you post in?

They are beginning to do so - for instance in Colorado and some other states in the USA.
