Thanks Aerianne. That is awesome. 20 or 30 years ago there was a poster of a woman who had a rose over her scar. I always thought that was an awesome way to say: I am still here. I survived.

My oldest son's mother had had several heart surgerys when we met and always wore clothes that were buttoned all the way up and had a posture that was protective of her chest. A friend of ours is Henry Goldfield a master tattoo artist who convinced her to let him turn the scar into a work of art and did a beautiful purple lotus over the open heart surgery scar and the resulting change in her posture and self image was fantastic!
