So like omg seriously. What does moisturing cream, even do? Like I know it's meant to moisturise, right? Cause that's why I put it on. :tearsofjoy: that's why it's moisturising cream. But whenever I put it on its like my skin heats up in the sun, my cheeks go rosey, a hint of persperation from my cheeks. The breeze makes it cold and then my face is cold. So what does the cream supposed to do? Moisturise my face, or trap in moisture? Because seriously I hate the feeling of it on my skin it's like I dunno feels weird and makes me sweat like oh yeah this is what I was trying to achieve, fucken cream in my eyes. :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:

I literally just peeled the 2nd last layer of rust off my firedrum lol. I'm toy glad I noticed that! Especially before camp. I pick up the new one on Thor's day. It's just the same, 44g drum chopped in half welded to a tire rim. Nothing flash or fancy. It's where you burn shit, don't need to be some fancy pants about it. :D

    #rednecklivin

I guess I'll just donate my rust bin to the scrap metal yard, though I don't even think they'd want it lol. The side is good just not the bottom.

I wonder if there is a way to prolong a fire drum?

i use moisturiser on my hands because i used to have bad dry skin and it helped.. but not on my face, i hate stuff like that on my face. really i think most of what they say is in a cream like vitamin E and whatever, the best for your skin is when you eat a lot of those things.

My home remedy for skin is just to bathe. I don't use soap almost ever, maybe onky if my wife washes me with an ex foliation scrub but if I'm on my own there's hardly any chance anything touches my skin except water and I just rince off with a scrunchie thingy.

I've probably onky washed my hair with any sort of product whether store bought or hand made, maybe onky a handful of times in the last year, well okay except for when I'm dying my hair all the time. :p but I don't actually "wash" it, just rinse.

Nobody has ever told me I smell, which I'm very self conscious of especially being bipolar this cosciousness is very very important for a person with bipolar, we have a stronger willingness to not smell haha. So I think my skin bacteria is good as it doesn't have much a scent and if it does I always think it is akin to chlorine exactly, and tastes like it. So I think of my skin and sweat and this every cycle keeping clean.

I attribute my no product lifestyle, and frequent baths to looking like I'm late 20s when I'm really 32 :D and especially my hair which has always been good but it's actually quite magnificent at the moment. It's so lush and thick and honestly like rope. I can do anything to it and it always shines and I honestly think all that is, is frequent hot baths, letting my head pores open up and drench hair in mu own oils, then rinsing off in a cold shower, trapping the follicles closed with the sudden coldness and obtaining the natural oils.

I just use cold water, and if it feels oily, I just use warm - hot water, rinse it all off but always finishin with a cold water rinse to seal the hair ends back up. :)
I think the hot baths heat my head a lot and with the sweats and cleans the oils out for me. I also massage my head in the bath to further open pores get more clean lol.

I've stopped using moisturizer, although I'll probably have to start again in the winter because my face gets super dry. But I've noticed my face loses the ability to make it's own moisture when I use moisturizer daily. So i've stopped and I just use a rosewater toner

And I've done the no shampoo on and off multiple times, I decided to try it again the last time we talked about it here actually lol so its been about..5 months maybe? My hair has thickened up a lot and has a nice wave to it. It really looks best with the no shampoo method, highly recommend

Jk I dont really get hardcore into the state rivalry, I'll pull for Clemson when they're not playing Carolina.
And I know Carolina is a mediocre team, all Carolina fans do.
    But I like talking shit

I really do hate Alabama though, their fans are obnoxious

And Tennessee is my most hated college team

Wandering around on Goonhilly Downs yesterday. Satellites at the Earth Station. When I first moved here I loved the atmosphere of the downs, kind of.. Magical and alien.. I could imagine flying saucer sightings but also faeries. It's a beautiful place, lots of wild flowers. The largest dish is called "Merlin". I only just learned that bit.

i just finished 5th today in the trucks. Took me a while to get the handle of it, after 10-15 laps i was slow, took me up until lap 55/75 to work it out then managed to drive back into top 5. I'll take it. :)

Still eagerly awaiting any insight into horse body language : )

The other day I had a bucket of tiny apples from a friend, took them out and threw them everywhere for the horses. Left them eating them and had a walk around to check for mushrooms.. When they finished they all came over to me, often when they do this they start nibbling my clothes like they want more apples, but it must have been enough for them because they seemed to just want to say hello and thank you and be scratched.

Unsure where this stems from, but I used to walk a trail where there were horse stables and I would occasionally walk up to them. I recall one of them lifting up one back leg and kind of stomping it, not aggressively but definitely in a demanding kind of way when either asking for more food or perhaps to be pet more.

That is the extent of my knowledge on horse body language.
