When I saw that on the news I simply couldn’t believe anyone could be that stupid.

I wonder if they at least deflated their tires prior to driving onto the beach?

@rollingalong I've never heard of any food warmers being built into these radiators. I just know they will soon be a pain in the ass to "bleed"....and the cats like to lay on them because they get real warm. They are also good to dry socks on. lol

I guess if you wanted some food warmed up, you could sit it on there (in the winter), and after all day, it would be warm, probably. :)

Dorian is the gift that keeps on giving

What happened/is happening in the Bahamas is heart wrenching :( 76,000 people left homeless. Hundreds of people still missing.

No I live upstate in Eastern Massachusetts.

Although Cape Cod is only a two hour drive, 3 1/2 hours to Provincetown (the tip of the Cape) it's almost another world.

The poverty rate in the Bahamas is high and it costs a lot of money to catch a plane off an island and pay for hotels, most probably just could not afford to evacuate

It isnt like the US where you can just drive 50 miles inland and find somewhere to hunker down

FYI Former President Obama and his wife are looking to purchase a permanent home on Martha’s Vineyard Isl. where they vacationed every summer during their 8 years in office,

As did The Clinton’s before them, who also showed respect and paid homage to the Vineyard each summer during their presidency.

I don't usually drink, but on very rare occasions I have experienced the "breakfast beer" to be pleasant. But once I tried to have two and I didn't drink much of the second. It's a one beer game, for me. Last time was probably winter solstice last year.

    This isn't very Deutsche.

Drinking a beer in Germany is very common in fact there's even morning markets specifically around drinking beer in the early morning where the tables are all in the centre and the outlets and beer tents on the outside that run 7 days a week. We even have a breakfast beer in Germany, which is a half litre of beer and half litre of lemonade for the fairies that don't like beer in the morning. :p

I thought that would have been a well know German fact about morning beers?
