Just issued out my admin post for the events on Monday.

    "
I don’t think we ever want to come to the policing that other series have, we’ve always tried to replicate what we see on TV and NASCAR is beating and banging which is why I never really pay attention to a complaint that says “such and such was racing me hard and we made contact” or “such and such was racing me hard and I lost time”. Every incident on Monday was avoidable. Some folks could have just not driven into the back of people, some could have given more room, some needed to hold their line, some just had a lack of awareness for a split second. We don’t want to be like the Majors where every bit of contact needs to be scrutinised. That ain’t Nascar. :D

I think it’s just about showing a bit more respect to one another. Some of our members have grudges and seemingly collect one another on a frequent basis, shows me a lack of respect which is fine also, you don’t have to get along with one another but when your actions take out other people, we are crossing a line because no one should have to be collateral damage during someone else’s problem and especially since I know some guys are putting in a lot of effort, not just on the night, but asking about track conditions and such during the weekend so they can practice and that’s what we want to see too and when those guys are getting taken out in more regular series drivers problems, it just takes all the fun away for them and we are still trying to promote the series so we have larger competitive fields which is hard if the feedback is negative.

Honestly the longer we can all run together with respect, the racing itself will yield better results.

I’ve been racing around the top 15 in our series for 2 years now and I’ve got a pretty good idea of how I can race around them. I know who I can pinch on corner exit and trust they won’t wreck me, I know who I can push, I can know who I can race and on the flip side, I know who I don’t want to be around either and I think that just comes with some experience and having respect for the other guys and I’ll be the first to admit how hard done by you can feel when you’re wrecked from just trying to race clean and hard, so as far as the grudges are concerned, I fully expect people to get upset and issue a payback, but not all payback needs to result in wrecks, there’s a time and place for it, and that place is not in front of the field.

Also as a non-profiting league that’s run by a few enthusiasts, we want to rely on you guys too to make an effort in how the racing progresses. This is NOT a fulltime gig for us, and we don’t want it to be.

Anyway that’s just my thoughts and opinions.

    Respect, ownership and responsibility."

Weed helps me physically and ESPECIALLY mentally. Before I even needed help physically (breaking boneS through the years), I almost desperately needed the help mentally...and it did that for me. After smoking, I could (and did) view things in a better light...I would even see that I wasn't a dummyhead all the time. (The Mother was a relentless, mean, confrontational, name-calling ass.) I could even deal with her after smoking. Maybe that's why I enjoy my firecrackers so much now. :) I MAY make some in a minute. I haven't been able to sleep worth a hoot...but I've discovered if I eat some really late, and do NOTHING but lay down, I can get some good sleep. I hope you will talk to your friend about maybe paying him to get some weed for you.

Dang...that was so nice...what a sweet thing to read, and to end my night on the internet with. 14 yrs old...he lived a good life, and apparently was loved. I'm so glad you were there to see him off. I KNOW that many people think I'm nuts (not that I care) but I truly believe animals are aware of who loves them and who is there at the last.

Like Ori said - (and I sincerely believe)...all dogs go to heaven.

Edit: and OF COURSE - all cats go to heaven too. :)
I have quite the menagerie waiting on me...

i like hearing things like this because it took a while for me to feel okay about this kind of use. kinda felt like it was "relying on a drug" to feel okay, or something, that it was kind of misusing it. which is silly now i think about it. but yeah, it's been interesting to me how many people, especially other women, describe the same thing. always made me take things less seriously.. like if i was having an argument i might be in the state of mind to write some overly long text about the issue, then i have a smoke and if i've already sent it i feel ridiculous and silly, and if i haven't, i feel glad that i haven't, and don't.

My posts drastically change from when I'm sober to smoking. I read a post when I've had a smoke, I mean even if my tolerance is through the roof and I dunno if the smoke even does anything anymore, but usually I read a sober post and I'm like LOL wtf was I thinking, whereas I think you get much more positivity out of me when I'm had a couple tokes.

I just seem to have this really negative approach to me when I'm sober. That's the evil Irm, EVIL Irm is clear minded and sober, sees things for what they are which ain't all that positive to begin with!

Wheras chilled out relaxed Irm, well she's the one that is chilled out, having a laugh etc.

But you see I tend to write and type exactly what I'm thinking and I have a warped sarcastic sense of humour and so I rattle on a fair bit having a laugh but I'm not sure people read it as funny as I actually think it is. Lol. But what I mean is you know how the voice in your head talks? Well I'm just typing everything it's telling me. With the pauses... exactly what it's telling me.

Like right now for instance. Had a couple tokes in a hot bath relaxing.. This post is pure gold they should sell this on get well cards. :D

    i think i often do.
like your drawing of the shipping container saying "ok!"
that was very funny to me last night.

that's the only time i find this way of socialising sad... when something reeeally makes me giggle on here and you can't kind of share that. in real life it's contagious.

there was an exchange between anakin and vg a while ago that keeps replaying in my head and makes me snort with laughter every time. i'd love to be able to repeat the key phrase from it to someone else who instantly knew what i was on about : )

Omg yes I know exactly what you mean. A lot of my memories are based on something funny happening and something I can say or gesture to a friend or my wife and we know it and we can laugh about it. I have so many of these in real life that like only one person gets and they're no longer in my life. Whether school, old jobs, moved on friends etc. And I see them on Facebook and sometimes I just want to say to one friend "is this two?" and I know he'd immediately crack up, but we haven't talked in 10 years or more. Feels weird to say that. The joke was a guy came up to us in PE (gym) one day at school and and we were group two and he had a funny accent and just the way he asked the question while flashing the peace sign. We laughed for years over that.

And another time same guy, this guy in class who was a bit out of the ordinary anyway he goes....sumthins burnin... And that was it, but the way he said it. :tearsofjoy: and the last time I saw this guy, I hadn't seen for 6months and that's the first thing he said to me. "Sumthins Burnin" :tearsofjoy: and that was also the last night I ever saw him again. And we were good friends too. :(

ha, yeah, that's the thing.. sometimes the funniness is literally only in the tone of voice an otherwise normal word/sentence was said..
you can never explain that kind of joke. it just IS.
i think we have a similar sense of humour, because a lot of my funny memories are based around that kind of thing, and another side to it is a bit of a surreal sense of humour, like the shipping container.

on an unrelated note, people always insist that robins are so territorial that you never get groups of them, but there are definitely several robins all around the bird feed table at the moment. they don't seem to chase each other any more than any of the other little birds.

Actually I was sober when I did the shipping container, but I was being blatantly sarcastic and I thought it was a hoot too. Funny thing is, the sarcasm or sense of humor triggered something my brain to give me excitement or even adrenaline feeling and it instantly changed my mood.

I think I'm just wired a bit differently.

IRL I think you'd get a completely different perception of me. I'd still come up with the dorky qwerky stuff and probably be just as annoying if I'd had a few drinks. Shy as hell sober. But you'd see no threat, whereas online over the years of forums I've noticed you either like me or you don't haha. I don't get that in real life though, it's probably a case of there's actually no point in wasting that negativity on her, cause she's not even on the same planet to recieve it. :tearsofjoy: so I find people just take me for how I am and I'm always looking for a good time and some fun so I do have that fun demeanour.

I do have bipolar though but my medications have drastically improved. I had my first real "downfall" unexpected a couple of weeks ago, but it had been months. I also got some weird downer moment on Saturday. I can't help that though I just go a bit quiet and I'll get through it eventually.

maybe for some people. i THINK my image of you is pretty accurate : )
if people don't like you it's usually just they take things very seriously and don't understand the funniness in being irreverent.
