I'm looking a starting kit. Solar panels Battery box. Inverter, cables and 115amH battery.

The stereo we want works at 120w

How many hours will I get from that battery?

 

In my opinion it will work until the sun goes down and then maybe for an hour after that.... My boss has a 1 foot by 1 foot solar panel on his boat battery but he told me that at best it's just keeps the battery at full from the original charge in other words it's a trickle charge

stereo does not use 120watts. thats what it can do -probable 2chan 60/60 .. most likely .. stereo is draining 15/35watts ..

you have a truck. buy a 12v to 110v converter .. get an extra battery box. start and charge battery for 15min at a time .. give you about 8/12hours ..

solar 100watt might get like 7amps .. I hate you people making me do math.
30watt 2amps 110v..< no i didnt use a calculator i guessed.. you go pooff now..
power the stereo for long time.

 

I don't want to connect another battery to my truck just yet. So it'll be stand alone battery in a battery box connected to solar.
