It doesn't matter how many times you have said or reiterated it or whether you changed it or not, you are just blatantly rationalizing in an attempt to make it seem like you weren’t just flat out wrong.

To thedope: Okay, a republic makes sense. I guess the only difference is we don't elect God. :d The co-creation idea is great, "thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth". We're supposed to co-create the kingdom on earth. It's awesome.

I don't think we will be like Christ. As John the Baptist said, "I must become less he must become greater". So it's a self emptying to make room for God. I don't identify myself as God or Christ.

    Again there twinkle toes,
"Thank you. Sometimes as hard as we try we need help. I did go back and try to pick the word out but my focus had already been filtered by the word republic and the meaning he was trying to impart. I apologize to you for assuming you made the association without the word present."

I didn't say identify myself as god as said be like him, act and conceive like him. Let the mind that is in christ be in you. I and my father are one. Jesus went to john the baptist to be baptized when john objected it is written jesus said that it is fitting. John the baptist becomes lesser to make room for the greater in the same way that jesus must leave so that the comforter, holy spirit may come. John lost his head.

What is it to empty yourself?

It's from Philippians 2:6. Jesus didn't think equality with God was something to be grasped, but emptied himself. I always think of grasping as something mental like trying to gain God through concepts. While emptying is simply being.

Thank you and you are welcome.
Yes I understood what he was saying but the reason the kingdom of heaven has alway been taught as a a type monarchy is that it is a KINGDOM.
We are not a free people, the only choice we have is who we want to serve God or Satan. Our free will comes into play in that we get to decide who we will serve.
The kingdom of God is not earthbound, it comes straight from the heavens.
The Kingdom of God was taught as a matter of how we should view God. Also the Kingdom of God is no part of this world and thus gives no validation to any earthly Kingdom.
Jesus himself is King of kings and not just another good ol boy, buddy buddy. We are to be slaves of God and of Jesus Christ.

I was hoping that you would realize that I encountered your second denial before your later correction but okay.

Thank you and you are welcome. Thank you and you are welcome.

I am not flat out wrong. I reiterated what I said because you didn't get it the first time. I am making an attempt that you understand me.

The gospel of john is written in a markedly different style, than the other gospels, more poetic or emotional in tone. For god so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son that whoever believes on him, doesn't sound like someone speaking of themselves especially in relation to phrases such as I am he. I am not saying the other gospels are more accurate but that all are stories about. It is fitting that you put these words into the context of your own experience and flesh them out. The error in translation regarding him saying he was the son of god was dealt with in the video.

It is reasonable to say that god sent man into the world, his children, to be companion to each other and bless the world for his love for it. That we believe on the truth in each other is our incarnate pathway to god. A commandment like the greatest, love one another.

Well no. Jesus taught the kingdom of heaven is like... and also, Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. Monarchy is a human idea and practice. As I said the impression was created by the church for the sake of promulgating the idea of subservience. It speaks nothing of the idea that we are loved.

And I said the idea of a free people.

The kingdom of god was taught as to how it appears. It is not a lesson in how to view god. It is a lesson in how to see the kingdom. And I pointed out that the kingdom of heaven is within you.

Meaning a man of the greatest authority not as ruler over you. To be a slave is not what we are to be. To say I am a slave to god is a colorful way of saying I am so lovingly devoted, not I fear the lash. A slave is put upon not by his own choice. A king has subjects not slaves. If as you say we have a choice who we serve then god is not ruler over all. Speaking of which you never answer the question how come you consider there is a price to be paid for exercising free will?
I always hope the best for you. No one usurps god's will. It is arrogant to think so. It is his will that you are as he created you and no choice you make can change that fact but choices you make can make that fact seem obscure to you.

Something like resisting the temptation to substitute your plan for his? We could say of the phrase take this cup from me, never the less not my will but as thy will is not a capitulation but a recognition that god's plan is correct. I regard this as removing the barriers we have erected to the perception of god in ourselves. Those barriers are ideas about, as you say, concepts which draw attention away from the perception of. My initial experience of emptying was the firm realization that I had not seen a single real thing in my life or that I knew absolutely nothing about what was going on. I was ready to learn anew. To come into the world as virgin in experience or be born again anew. Philippians contains comments about. The idea of subservience and liberation as in the truth sets you free are at odds.
