Both Clinton and Trump's people confirm the call and the general nature of the conversation.

Are you kidding? I might be able to find a bar if I drive to the city, but out here both bars are redneck and I guarantee neither will be watching it. And woe to thee that even suggests it! I'd be balked right the fuck out of the bar, lol They'll be watching UFC at one and playing the jukebox way too loud at the other. I'll catch it on NPR, sad to miss the facial expressions though.

This is the best time to do humorous 'cut ups' as I call them. Audio recordings of debates or political speeches, altered with editing to make them say different things, looping 'uhhs' and odd speech mannerisms so they sound like stammering idiots, lol

Back in the George Sr/ Iran days I made a brilliant cut of a speech he gave that had him saying "we will put Iran in a choke-hold...a Chinese choke-hold!" lol
Back then I did it with tape machines. What I could do now with digital editing would be frickin' seamless!
LOL, never believe anything you hear on a recording...

Oh shit, the debates about to start...

I think the most important moments in the debate came at the beginning, when Trump threatened to run as an independent if he doesn't get the GOP nomination, essentially holding the party hostage if they don't dance to his tune. Right after that, when questioned by Megyn Kelley about nasty comments he's made about women, he was rude to her. Media focus groups and Twitter are still lighting up with strong criticism of the way he handled both situations.

Bush was boring, Rand Paul was weak, Christie was back in his old classic form, and John Kasich did a good job of connecting with the audience. Nobody else surprised me.

Oh god, it's nearly impossible here to escape FucksNews. Even waiting in line at the bank for a teller, I'm forced to endure Fox indoctrination.

I have never in my life walked inside a business and saw MSNBC on the screen. Sometimes, CNN is an option.

Fucksnews ( thank you for that one Karen, lol) controlled all the streaming, which wasn't free. They even shut down a few unauthorized streams, mid-debate. NPR obviously couldn't carry it either. I got lucky and was able to watch part of it though. I agree, Trump used the independant thing as a threat. Nominate me or I will fuck you all!

Trump got kinda steamed on several occasions, lol he was an ass to both moderators. I don't thing he came off well, lol
He's become almost a caricature of himself, the way he was acting.
I love his retort about his bankruptcy. " I used the laws of this great country..." LOL

Trump was completely the same person he's been since entering this race.
The crowd, moderators and other candidate may have crinkled their noses... but who wants to bet his numbers stay the same or get better, but don't even come close to dipping?

But, basically, I feel like this debate was just a pulling over to flll up the clown bus at a gas station.

I don't know, the focus groups are giving him hell, especially women. We won't know for sure for a couple of days.

    With laughing gas? :D

Hey Donald, inhale some helium and talk to us some more!

Maybe helium would make him more endearing.
    lol

My bet is that by Tuesday, his numbers won't be any lower.
    Possibly higher.

Republicans look like a joke again,

I guess donald trump looks the best, he seems more genuine for some reason, but then again he's had years experience in media with his own reality tv show.
But just thinking about the finical crisis' that's going on in europe for foreign policy, and obviously our own country his own skill attaining wealth will probably be seen as very attractive.

Plus trump already has a name for himself, which gives him an edge in the competition. I believe he didn't run in 2012 for the obama's re-election, because he wanted more attention for this bigger election. That, and he probably knew obama had the vote.

He does it by treating his competitors like dirt, and by appealing to his customers' lowest natural instincts. He doesn't understand people who "play nice" and show respect to those who have different opinions. I thinks this fits nicely with the values of GOP core supporters. I don't think it will appeal to swing voters and independents, who decide general elections.

When the next poll comes out, the big loser may be Bush. Too polite.

Scott Walker will lose female support for doubling down on his promise to ban abortions to save the life of a mother, no exceptions.

Right now, nobody is blasting Trump harder than Fox, because they can't control him. He isn't a loyal Republican. He's only loyal to himself.

Now we're going to see how much influence Fox really has over its viewers.

Just like I thought....Last night the candidates took turns telling lies, and FUXNEWS didn't call any of them on those lies. But this morning, CNN and MSNBC pointed them out.

As I said, the cons play stupid voters like a fiddle.

The con is that we vote for anything. We assert who we are.

Stay tuned. The skirmish between Trump and Fox is rapidly turning into a war. On Twitter, he just called Megyn Kelly a bimbo. I think he's opened a Pandora's box. A lot of women are going to want his head on a platter; liberal and conservative women.

Not one single GOP candidate has dared say in public that Trump speaks to women inappropriately.

You forgot something.... He also doesn't pay the contractors he hires to build his casinos.

As does the point that I added...

I'd rather not stay tuned to skirmish. I would rather end our misery
