re-visiting 2c-b

Sounds amazing for a trip. Still, my preference with 2ce is to trip in the dark, because the visuals really come to life in the dark and especially when in a reclined position. That's just me though. Different tokes for different folks. You'll have an awesome trip with 50mg, no matter where you are.

 

Yah, my forest trip on 2ce was pretty insane even at 20 mgs. There are places I can lay around at this park but that one path I'm talking about I think there is only one bench and I can't really lay down on that for 8 hours. This place will be more shadowy than the forest too so I think that will be more amazing for the 2ce.

I'm trying to maximize my setting here, I've sat in a dark room laying down listening to music on many trips and a couple of them were 2ce.

 

seems like it might not be the best idea to dose 50 mg at this park. as you know, i've only taken up to 20 mg, and i always do it at my house, wait to come up, and then go for a walk in the park. the come up might have you puking and shitting, even though i know you generally don't purge from tripping.

if it was a lower dose, i'd say go for it, but this seems like it's TWO new things - ultra high dose, and dosing in public and remaining there the whole trip

 

Yah I think so Porkstock, I mean here is the sign that is at the entryway of the park, what better way could you ask to start a heavy 2ce trip?

No specific day, a couple weeks from now probably. What about your 2ce trip?

 

not for a long time. i probably won't trip again until may and that will probably be 2cb or mescaline. then maybe again in july...one of those two or LSD. maybe another trip in august. then hold off until november or december for a 2ce winter trip.

that's not counting when i get the balls to try DMT

 

Personally I imagine that park being a really great setting. In my imagination anyhow. Being as experienced as you are I should think you'd be fine. Maybe think about taking a backpack with a few 'necessities' to see you through. You might be stuck there for your plateau but after that I'd think you'd be good to go if you don't have to drive to get home.

 

Yah, some water will definitely be a necessity. The park is big too so I can chill out at some of the other areas later as well. There is an art museum there but I don't think I could swing this at the dose and I think it's $25+ anyways.

 

this 1st paragraph is long winded rambling. skip it if you want to get to the effects.
yesterday was friday, and the 2nd spring like day. i got home from work around 5:30 and had been considering dosing some 2cb or mescaline. since i think i wanna try mescaline during the daytime, i chose 2cb. i got out my mason jar and dumped out my individually dosed plastic tubes. out tumbles various doses of 2ce (8, 16, 19, 20, 24.5 mg), 2cp (8 and 10 mg), DMT (~30 mg to 75 mg), and 2cb (20, 22.5, 30, 43.8 and 50 mg)
i put them all back besides the 30 mg tube and the 43.8 mg tube of 2cb. i hadn't decided to increase dose or decrease slightly. i thought "what the hell, you're at your own house, might as well go for the gold." i could save a lower dose for a more public setting. so i poured the contents of the tube and rinsed it with a light stream of tap water into a small white teacup. it seemed harder to dissolve than 2ce, so i crushed it and stirred it with a toothpick. sucked on the toothpick for a hint of the taste (ala shulgin?), but then topped it off with some pomegranate juice. with a brief moment of hesitation, and "here we go!" i swirled the cup and swigged it down. rinsed with juice a few times, and began to do the dishes.

the beginning
again i noticed a relatively fast come-up compared to 2ce. i felt it in my arms at about 25 minutes, at which point i was just about finished with the dishes. i then went to my comfort zone: bed and music. i was starting to feel pretty good, just hanging around the apt. and playing with my cat. my fiance called and said she'd be home in about 45 mintues. i would have to tell her i had dosed without consulting her. she was a bit frustrated at first, but i made her get over it. she had a bottle of canadian club and was making herself drinks after she got home...

but before she got home, i went on a bike ride through the park. when i rode my bike home from work, it was a beautiful day, blue skies, but now clouds were rolling in and it was windy and getting cold. it was perfect though. i was dressed warm enough, and the scenery was stunning - especially the clouds. i wrote about this in the psychedelic bump thread, so maybe i'll copy and paste:

i was coming down rapidly less than 5 hours after dosing, which is a bit of a bummer. but DAMN, 2cb is amazing. i think it's almost safe to say that i like it even more than 2ce. it's so intricate and delicate. "fluffy" and soft. f l o w i n g. the clouds deserve more description, but my writing isn't at it's best right now. i have my normal PEA hangover. i'm about to take a shower and head to red lobster for lunch. looks like another nice day out:sunny:

this song got me to a really good place last night. i put it on when some of my other songs were getting too creepy and making me anxious. they were all by pinback though (not all the songs i listened to last night, i mean the creepy ones that i couldn't handle AND the calm relaxing ones that brought me back to a good place.

i notice a lot of shadow play with 2cb. i keep thinking that i see stuff outta the corner of my eye. it's not quite as "sparkly" and 2ce, but i do get some flashes of light. the visuals are very subtle on this one, and hard to explain or remember. they aren't as intense as 2ce's or LSD's but they are just as beautiful, if not more so. THE CLOUDS, man! i used to say that 2ce is to music and LSD is to clouds. (even though each is awesome on each) but 2cb is to both!! there was so much (real) purple and hints of orange in the clouds. i was watching them roll in and getting such an intense, yet subtle at the same time, please from it. mixing with each other, and separating again. i could make out imaginary pictures in them, but mostly it was the movement of them that was interesting.

i can't get over the gentle, soft, fluffy, juicy, LOVING nature of 2cb. it's like being made love to by a chemical.

 

Sounds like a really nice time PS. Thanks for the details and description. I feel the same way about shortness with the things I've tried. That can be good sometimes but I like 8 hrs or sometimes more.

I like longer trips too, but hefty doses of 2cb definitely cram a lot of tripping into a few short hours.

The issues you describe about your gf is why I like tripping alone. Its less complicated. I've tripped more times alone than I have with a group. I don't know how many times I've dropped acid under a hundred times

sharing the experience with her is well worth the slight complications.

i tripped "solo" with her at a fest, and that was pretty complicated
so by alone do u mean completely, for the whole trip?

i'm gonna trip with my bro, who after 2 trips on L seems like he can handle it a lot better than my lady. i like showing my friends the power of lucy

 

oh when I say alone- I mean in seclusion. I've been the only 1 tripping lots of times and only tripped maybe 8 or 9 times with 1 or more tripper. I've only tripped a few times with new comers. Most of the time I would have them trippy alone and I'd be their babysitter. I never really minded, cuz I felt like I was Enriching their lives. I gave my younger sister acid but I let her do it with her friends... Worst mistake ever! She had a frightening experience which led her to be afraid of the dark! She has been sleeping with a highlight for 12 years. I felt and feel so guilty.. still

 

^^^how old was your sister? i don't think i'd give any to my brother except when he's tripping with me. he's 21, didn't trip til he was 20.

How odd, my 15 year old sister gave me acid for my first time and we both took it in our respective group of friends and she had a bit of a frightening time as well and has been afraid of the dark since as well

I always think that she needs to revisit this substance once she's more mature and really understand it, but the experience turned her off forever. maybe one day.
