That is very interesting.....so was The Bible based on the Greek word of Atom for Adam, or was it too mysterious a coincidence? I also always wonder about all languages....a same word could be different letters in other languages, and not even resemble our own language sometimes.....but that is way off the original title.......conversations do have a way of evolving sometimes.....into other things...... I only hope something of us lives on........
The original Bible was written in Hebrew no? So I doubt it, but I don't really know etymology concerned with the Bible.
what have I said that makes you think I am? I know some philosophy of religion but I'm not too familiar with particular texts.
idk I know concepts of it, but not actual scholarly facts of it, no. I have never studied The Bible..... I never read it, either, I am embarrassed to say. I figure most people have. I think I read a little before and the God seemed mean and I did not want to read anymore or something......like that.... I know what people who have read the Bible and studied it told me. My dad read it and said it was the greatest piece of fiction ever written..... He was a scholar...but not religious....He said that when you die,,,,no more....that is it , as that is what he believed...... Wow, has this gotten way off topic or what?
I started reading the Bible but got bored with genesis, didn't even appreciate it much as fiction. I think part of it is the type of language it uses. I'm not really much a fan of Shakespeare either for this reason. The particular language subordinates the message. Topics always stray? Remeber what site you are on ?
