On The Mechanics Of Conspiratorial Belief

human people conspire. that's simply a thing that people do.
so there are always many conspiracies going on.
often many of these conflict indirectly, and sometimes directly as well, with each other.
the result being that the outcome of this statistical interaction of conspiracies,
may often be somewhat difficult to predict.

we can always look back at events and say that conspiracies have occurred,
but again to sort out which conspiracies contributed what to that event,
is often never entirely resolved.

this is of course made more difficult, especially where criminal activity is involved,
by the persons involved, not wanting them to be sorted out,
and not infrequently having positions of power to hide behind.

 

The crisis actor thing is indeed a hard thing for one to wrap their mind around -- myself included at times. In many instances it's just one of those things you pick up on after analyzing the news critically for a period of time, but in some cases it's just so obvious that we're being sold a line of bullshit designed to tug on our heartstrings as the government forwards their draconian agenda. There is pretty solid proof at this point that crisis actors have been used in Sandy Hook as well as in Boston, which, like recent mass casualty/mass fatality events, just so happened to coincide with a DHS government anti-terrorism drill. As far as the victims and their names, it's known that several of the Sandy Hook children either did not exist, or had changed their identity. We know based on simply analyzing the Boston footage that many of the injured were actors wearing wound prosthetics (i.e. Jeff Bauman) and smeared with fake blood.

Keep in mind crisis actor is a term NOT made popular by some anonymous conspiracy theorist, but by a Florida University professor named James Tracey, who did an interview with the media in 2012 which went viral, questioning the events of Sandy Hook, and later the Boston Marathon bombings, in which he received much backlash for. (Not that this means anything other than the fact that the term didn't originate from the conspiracy community online.)

While in many ways crisis actors used in completely staged events passed off as real seems like a stretch, I don't find it implausible knowing the history of the media and government, and their documented collusion in things such as Operation Mockingbird.

It's not hard to maintain secrecy when you have an all-powerful government and media that controls the flow of information people receive. Think of all the people in government involved in all sorts of heinous, covert operations both here and abroad. Yet how much of this gets out?

But let's not jump straight to crisis actors things when there are plenty of other well-documented things that could be discussed in this so-called conspiracy realm.

 

I remember the looooong conspiracy discussions about the government planning to disallow citizens and farmers from growing organic crops. That went on for a while. Just died out, as it should have. JFK,MLK,RFK-----killed by lone gunman? No way. (and they weren't killed by so-called liberals) It's called the Kennedy solution.
The legislators are bought and paid for and will do about anything to stay in office, bullshit included. One can get the gist of stories on the news, but being able to see behind the motives of certain/most stories is the trick. I don't trust the government much either. This past few decades has been instructive as to their motives and methods. There's not much morality in government, only means to ends.

 

Conspiracies range from proven fact to absolutely bat shit crazy. The Bush Administrations WMD's is a proven factual conspiracy. It was a flat out lie to the American public. There is no doubt that there are countless actual conspiracies ongoing from governments, banks, corporations and wealth associations to mislead the public. I think the OP is referring to the Bat Shit Conspiracies. There is simply no polite way to describe how crazy and delusional some people are who believe shit like Flat Earth conspiracies. At this day and age, with what we know, it is mind boggling to see countless videos from people believing this nonsense. I watched a flat earther video for laughs and next thing Youtube is suggesting dozens and dozens of these clueless moronic videos.

The mechanics of Bat Shit Crazy Conspiracies; delusion, denial, religion, stupidity, paranoia, serious mental illness ... Start watching some of these retards and you will no doubt hear some biblical references floating about their denial soup. What gives away any ridiculous BSCC is when you hear a flat out denial of a proven observable fact. Any one of us can go to an ocean and watch a large ship sink below the horizon bottom first, but a flat earth nut job will swear up and down that this does not happen. The sad fact is that we are a race of fucking idiots. Even the smartest of us constantly do stupid things and think irrational thoughts. Our society is founded on freedoms of delusion and denial. Logic be damned, literally damned to hell if you don't fall in line with their irrationality.

the real problem with conspiracy drama and emo, is the little boy who cried wolf phenomina. sooner or later, the real 'wolf' shows up, and when it does, because everyone's heard the same story so many times before, no one, perfectly reasonably and understandably, no one believes it.
