so we wait for them to try and attack us and hope we get lucky?

Remember, we have to be lucky 100% of the time..they have to be lucky only once.

I dont really pay much attention to the media. I usually base my facts on personal accounts from people who were/are acctually over there. I have to keep up with that, because I may be over there soon myself. If the media acctually backs them up good on them.

God forbid I trust some of the coalition forces, marnines, army, navy, and my fellow airmen. Trust me, they know a little more about the war then you do, because they are/were acctually there. And not everyone I talk to are footsoldiers, they are intel, global security, and iraqi people themselves. You speak from a "sit on your ass and read" perspective. (acctually alot of people do that, most cases its a bad thing.) Get over yourself and try to read in between the lines once and a while. And I dont mean that in your conspiracy theorist psychopathic way either.

The French resistance were CIA collusionists too. So who gives a crap? Time and time again you try to condemn Iraqis who opposed Saddam. Clearly, a friend of the USA is an enemy of LickHERish and no further mental effort is required.
Yeah! Then maybe elections would be a good idea! Except you prefer theoretical elections in a spontaneous utopia rather than real elections which the US is working hard to achieve. Which is, of course, why your views are so worthless.
Zarqawi is Jordanian so only a deluded cafe revolutionary such as yourself could call him or his suicide bombing jihad buddies "patriotic Iraqi citizens". The invasion was supported by most Iraqis. The authority of the interim government is recognised by the UN. Our occupation is with their consent. That's the paradigm.
Brushed aside? So Saddam was their self-determined sovereign will? Or maybe elections would be necessary to determine that.
You're really revealing two things here - how little thought you have given this, and how you absolutely, positively could not give a fuck what happens to Iraqis. A US withdrawal would not create spontaneous democracy, NOBODY BELIEVES THAT. And don't try to fill in this massive gap in your thinking with some vague reference to the UN as if they have some kind of democracy-in-a-box that they can fly in on an airplane.
Thank you for comparing the French resistance to people who detonate car bombs next to crowds of children and murder aid workers and journalists. You would do well to keep embarassing yourself with such desperate rationalisations.
I don't need to know Zarqawi personally. Very revealing that you intend to reserve judgement in case he has some kind of wounded soul or something.
That is, if you are the kind of person (and you are) who denies Saddam's genocide of the Kurds and is generally ignorant about all the other capaigns of mass murder he has carried out against his own citizens.
Wow sounds like the only harm that came to Iraqis in the last 12 years came from the USA! No mention of Saddam at all! YESSIR, its the LICKERISH (TM) HISTORY, edited of inconvenient facts.
Iraq is neither Zarqawi's home nor soil. Ooops, keep forgetting that don't you?
Yes, I dare call people who bomb the Red Cross "terrorists". If you ever get the balls to "dare", let us know. I'm fascinated that you say Allawi lived "cozily away from the deprivation and suffering". Does you definition of "cozily" include having some Baathist break into your house and attack you with an axe? Oh wait, I forgot, you don't think before you write these things.
    Speak for yourself.
Where were your tears for the French citizens killed when we "softened up" Normany with bombers prior to D-Day? Besides, we've already noted that your definition of collateral damage is when Saddam shoots civilians in the back of the head before dumping them in a mass grave.
The fact that you are incapable of making issues over a car bomb detonated in the middle of a crowd of children is YOUR problem, not ours.

Actually son, I have considerable dealings with senior intel staff, officers and diplomatic reps who have as well been over there, you seem to forget that Brussels is a home of NATO and SHAPE isnt too far to the south. You keep presuming whatever you wish to keep yourself wrapped in your Pentagon paid world of military spin. God forbid you, one so beholden to the MIC as you are, should dare question no matter how many lies have already been revealed in our push to expand our empire.

You say i agree with noone here, well again let me point out the obvious fact that the only people i bother wasting time addressing are groupthink zombies like yourself who regurgitate lies that only reinforce the MIC-serving status quo. Those who demonstrate the ability to see through those lies dont need my accolades of agreement, I simply read their posts and leave them to carry on with their own lines of argumentation.

Have you briefed them on your theory about mossad piloting remote controlled missile firing airplanes into the World Trade Center?

Yeah and im the Dali Llama..

If you know so much, tell me where the ambassador to france is? Since you got tabs on everyone. Its a simple question, can be asnswered with an I dont know. Im asking because he's a diplomat, that you must meet with quite often.

And if you telling the truth, which im sure your not, then you must be in grave danger, being the massive whistle blower that you are.

Not my theory actually. But then youve long shown your stripe as corporate lying mouthpiece ready to defend proven liars and their repeated stonewalling of any legitimate investigation into 911 to determine the truth of the matter.

After your many regurgitative posts, its clear to see you should have been the replacement for Ari, the liar, Fleischer rather than McClellan.

LOL. Im not the agenda keeper for those with whom I have had contact, andrew (notwithstanding the fact that Im not in France but Belgium my boy and dont work in France either). Neither did I suggest that I see these people on a daily or even weekly basis. I have talked with quite a number of foreign service personnel over the past year at given times and in differeing meetings, some in NATO HQ and many more times in the course of events organised by third parties (think tanks and International bodies). You are indeed grasping now to find any excuse to justify yourself and if its so vital to your peace of mind that you question nothing, then by all means little sheeple, be a good little indoctrinated drone and believe what you are told.

I couldn't care less what you believe when it comes right down to it. I simply wont remain silent whilst you and your ilk pollute these boards with regurgitations of the bogus propaganda we all hear for ourselves daily from the meanstream press and media. Such posts are redundant at best.

No, we improve intelligence and defense to give us a leg up on these guys. Then we work hard to make sure they aren't lucky.

Are you saying that we should just start attacking everyone just because anyone could potentially one day attack us?

And who are "them" that you are talking about? Terrorism is an idea. A terrorist can be anyone, from any country, any race, any religion fighting for any cause. It is their acts that make them terrorists, you aren't born a terrorist like you are born a canadian or something like that. It doesn't work that way.

We are never ever going to be able to abolish every threat, or potential for threat to our country in this world. No country can do that. It is silly to try, especially when human lives are involved.

But that is obviously not what we are doing anyways, because any leader knows it is an impossibility. The label "war on terror" is just something to appease the masses while politicians follow their own agenda.

I just hope people will wake up and see that a "war on terror" is useless. You can't send an army to take down an idea.

Just curious, because I work at the place that makes every move in iraq.
A place that even has say over the president of the US. If you have any knowledge over the war what so ever you would know where im talking about.

How do we do that if we dont interrupt their training? Hope we can meet the guys as they board the next plane?

Who said anything about that? But we must deal with terrorist training camps. Does this mean we should run off and attack every country with training camps? No, America has training camps. However, we need countries to act to shut them down within their own borders.

"them" would obviously be the terrorists. If you are planning terrorist actions, you're a terrorist, even if you havent done it yet. Sorry, i'm not up for letting terrorists attack us first bfeore we do anything. I dont want to see americans die, maybe you do.

No, we wont abolish every threat, does that mean we should ignore every threat though?

Would it be better if we just never used the 'label' war on terror and continued what we were doing? I cant believe you are hung up over a title.

    Thats the spirit!

I guess the war on drugs/violence/poverty is useless too.
more and more people every day are using drugs, losing jobs, and beating their wives. We should just give up on it, and let the unemployed crackheads beat the hell out of their wives.

Again not that I at any point in our all too common verbal exchange claimed to be a military strategist or expert, andrew (again conflating the issue with unrelated diversionary claims to excuse your failure of rationale) but i would presume you refer to SOCCENT at MacDill AFB.

Not that this makes any whiff of difference to the issue of "official" lies orchestrated and by the Pentagon's own Office of Special Plans (OSP) set up by Rumsfeld to serve as the engine for propaganda both in the lead up to and throughout the prosecution of this invasion.

Why don't you read my posts instead of being argumentative.

    I specifically said:

And do we have the military invading countries over drugs and domestic violence?

Do you want to contribute to the discussion, or just be argumentative and pull the discussion around in circles?

Maybe you should go back to grade school and learn to read.

The thing that bugs me about the news and reporting about war in general is that they're always looking at the numbers: 10 dead on our side. 300 dead on theirs. 20 civilians killed in this bus. 3 were Americans. Tsk tsk tsk.

Isn't 1 just as tragic as 1,000? On any side?

I'd like to meet whoever it was who invented war, show them my bare backside and say, "Hey! Would you like some soup? How about a crock pot full of savory butt sauce???"
