You realize this topic is 3.5 years old and there was no reason to post in it, as you only said what many others have already said, years ago.

 

Where did it come from.

 

how old are you first of all?
you need to compromise with her.
tell her your relationship with her is not all about money.
all i think she wants is surprises.
some girls i knew in highschool came to school with a high end purse and said "oh my boyfriend got it for me"... that made me jealous. perhaps thats happening to her?
also, tell her you will take her out on occasional if she wants, and buy her flowers (get her wild flowers. they are only like 3 bucks at a grocery store) - and if she doesn't agree to that then i'd walk.
there are simple things into being a gentleman. a guy usually pays first date, well it has always happened with me, but say with movies, id buy popcorn he'd buy tickets. let her in on that too, and tell her how beautiful she looks.
she'd be illustrating a unrealistic relationship here if she didn't agree with some of these terms...

and pulling the whole "your not gentleman enough" = im a greedy bitch. give me diamonds.

I think it is called "necroposting." Most annoying when the original poster is likely long gone, like in this case, and will never see the advice given.
