The goblin caused Storch to recall past thoughts of his own having to do with the issue of power and authority. He saw the problem as stemming from the collectively held and ingrained idea that we have to put up with the inequities handed down to us by authority simply because that's the rule under their roof. It's not their roof, but somehow we're all convinced that it is, and that whatever they dictate must be adhered to.

Maybe this happens because of the almost seamless transitions we move through from parent, to reverend, to teacher, to foreman, and on up to president. In the same way that you don't question the parent, and you don't question the authority of the reverend, and you don't correct the teacher, and you don't tell the foreman what to do, you also don't second-guess the president. You can criticize, but your criticisms are in no way effective or binding.

If parents waste money, spending it on everything that tickles their fancy while their kids wear old clothes and eat the cheapest food, there's nothing the kids can really do about it. If they've just become freshmen in highschool, then they're going to have to put up with this parental bullshit for four more years, after which they can leave and create their own system based on their own rules. Of course, creating their own system will take up so much of their time and energy that there's never enough time to really enjoy the benefits of the new rules they've set for themselves. I'm not sure how this last paragraph relates to the first two, but it does seems to.

Where the authority? We're the authority. An heirco is never as mocking as we imagine it to be, or at least only as mocking. But if all are nobility, Dejavu continued, then perhaps it is something of an inborn defence mechanism that even our chosen king and queen are as inherently anonymous as anyone? That they are naturally above name and title? Man and woman were never not what they were, he concluded, as though he had any right to. His desire had him suspect that a present Ariadne had always existed. More than mixed myth, and in more than imagination, because of it. Was this desire merely a limitation of his manhood? Why couldn't he, instead of suspecting, simply decide? The authority of Dejavu was in question, but this is how he liked it to be. How otherwise to let ones beloved come to themselves? If he could speak from the future, he would, as it was, his hope for the future was whole.

The moneygod dead, yet it never had lived, our hearts for our own gold alone had been sieved - we sprung open, and welcomed the world as it was, for it is, and we came to get over 'because', in becoming, a trick which informs the life form of its own, an indefinite thing never prone to its end, but its ends, and for what those ends vie - authority where we do not have to die.

Dejavu smiled and recalled he had been meaning to post music here in lieu of his usual words. But it seemed no-one much cared. It was almost always jungle, and here or there a junglist would cheer, but Dejavu was now looking at the clock. He didn't blame anyone for that. No-one has time to wash the clock! Into the sea!

("...love your wording dejavu, beginning to really get into your style too, though where it took a few reads to get it, but it was worth my while to do so..." mentioned the goblin, adding "...so sometimes the author goes to the reader, and sometime it's the reader who must go to the author instead, yet either way then my life is richer for it, as one still gets something to think upon...")

repost from elsewhere, the "what are you thinking" thread

the goblin was thinking of his ghosts again, saying "...funny isn't it, I mean when someone dies, they're just dead and gone aren't they, and yet, when someone really close dies, no matter how long ago that was, it just feels like they're dead and still here..."

repost from elsewhere, the goth's "last post" thread

the goblin noticed that Zombie Queen had probably had a bad day the graveyard, saying "...just let your boyfriend whisper in your ear how very wicked you really are, and you will feel much better my queen...", yes, the goblin seemed to remember that women like to be appreciated for their finer qualities

repost form elsewhere, the goth forum again

the goblin thanked queen bot her passionate suggestions here, though he felt he had to decline the invitation knowing that at his age all that stuff was beyond him now, saying "...I am not worthy o great queen but I am sure that someone like the other members here would find that experience ever somewhat sensual indeed..."

Like Dejavu, Storch, too, wondered, where's the authority? But he did not feel that he was the authority. After giving the matter some thought, he decided that the authority turns out to be nothing more than a middleman/manager of sorts who says, "Give me the necessary funds to fulfill your needs and to keep you safe, and I'll do just that." However, Storch felt no need to orchestrate the sickness and death that the managers had visited upon hundreds of thousands of innocents--mostly children--in another country in the early nineties.

He didn't like the middleman using his money to misrepresent his true sentiment toward innocent humans. Storch had never met a middleman who didn't take a cut. It could be some sort of coincidence that middlemen are rich; well, as far as money goes, anyway. Storch knew that he was the authority when it came to what he will and will not overlook. Not that he knew what to do about it; but he did know it would have to be a team effort.

How confusing, thought Dejavu. Storch didn't think he was an authority, yet he did? If we're not the authority, Dejavu continued in his confusion, we can always keep on multiplying until we are I suppose.

"...keep them coming then..." smiled the goblin, adding "...the point of the exercise is as follows, that simply once you have a post done here, it'll just be on this thread for when you want to reuse it elsewhere and in doing so you'll edit it again in its reposting, and each time it'll be reworded by you again on and on until it's the final residue of what you started out with, being something exactly you to yourself, and then you will see yourself by it, I mean if you so wish to, moreover it will be truely you by your pen...", yes the goblin had often mentioned it as his journey to self but it was no incomprehensible now, no it was tangible even to the non religious, simply that whatever one did did one in return, laughing "...well now, if this journey doesn't temper one's soul so to speak, at least it will harden the soles of yours feet instead..."

I am still and sometimes wondering yet, where is from elsewhere. Re-posts emerging from posts. I am affixed as even my friend Dejavu has embraced our redundancy. The sound of the waves are soothing still...

("...we are legion then..." replied the goblin whose username if googled would turn up one elsewhere upon another, adding "...forum/venue, thread/stage and persona/act, where many a venue has kicked me off stage and booted me...", but the goblin had always restarted another elsewhere elsewhere again, smiling "...ah now, goblins are no to be trusted, they cunningly turn posters into personas and leave livewriters in their wake, where your posts are writings is their dangerous credence...")

the goblin just wanted to pass the essence of his existence through the focus of his pen so to speak, saying "...being happy is for others now, no, I want to be creative so I want to be really aware where being aware is neither better and worse than being happy, just that it's more important to me, that's all, where "love" for example is not happiness at all, no it's a mixture of so many more emotions than just happiness isn't it, and yet most people seemed only to want happiness, ah but I am not so shallow in my expectations form this life today, no I'll take what this life has to offer me because it is all that I will ever get, where happiness often lulls one the one's senses, pain to open the eyes perhaps, love is pain too..."

"...ah humans, the moment you talk about belief you simply don't know do you however strongly you may believe in something, but can one not argue that facing the slot like this is like a journey to self then, so why do you try to believe when you can know for sure if you keep doggedly at it, because you won't find that whatever outside yourselves, simply your dailylife is showing you your outer self anyway, while your facing the slot like this is showing you glimpses of whatever lies within here, that's all..." ventured the goblin, adding "...look, when you look out at the night's sky, you think you see the infinite itself, you don't, you only see some galaxies, and when you look at the screen here you might as well think you see some infinite again for all you actually see, and if you close your eyes too, that about the same amount of infinite you see as when staring at those faraway stars once more, so knowing this fact then, the point is not "how far off one can see", instead it's taking the time out of one's dailylife to contemplate the infinite, and simply finding one's own way through one's own words to do so too..."

Never! cried Dejavu passionately, never will I embrace lifes redundancy! What way would that be to return lifes embrace?! Ah, my friends, I embrace you with my vision! I choose to! Dejavu stopped writing, and looked about him. If he was not carefree, he'd become a Don Quixote! Or worse, a Harry Haller! He couldn't help but care for such characters!

Go to your happiness, friends, go and settle! Run from it too, let your tastes prove your mettle for life, but come clean in all matters of love! It is action, and feeling wants only above what it is in the instant, a fine case for bliss, which is e'er it's own air or no case at all this, when we see yet more closely, embodiments boon, the endless desire of our form, life of mind soon to come at no cost as our souls don't sell out - ne'er priceless nor priced well, we value, not flout.

    He suddenly felt exceptionally thirsty...

repost from elsewhere, the dating forum

"... perhaps both growing old and social trappings ruin romance in the end, if only because we can't think as naively as when we once did in our youth..." ventured the goblin, continuing "...it's as if the line consequence makes cowards of us all sinks home, since with age most people retreat away from commitment and the compromise that romance would entail, also with men, there's that horrible suspicion, that after being alone for a long while one's mechanics might not work, something one doesn't ever want to confirm by finding out, so it's rather like with the dentist then, simply one avoids those dental appointments, telling oneself how fine one's teeth must be fine because they just look that way..."

“...ah humans, if you write like all too correctly like in a book, one might think oneself as more readable perhaps, yes, but one also risks disaster too...” voiced the goblin, explaining “...simply, if one writes like everyone else does in books, then just like everyone else is how it will turns out to be...”, and perhaps that point alone somehow freed the goblin form something, something which didn't really work in posts anyway, his writing normally that is, saying "...who remembers that which is expected...

("...here's how it works..." mentioned the goblin, continuing "...simply one takes someone's original quote together with one's own reply to it, together with a matching picture that might underline it, then one drops the identifying bits to keep it anonymous, whereupon one gives it an airing upon the first forum like here seeing if it works, after which it goes through the reposting to elsewhere process...", and with that the goblin just posted it then)
