New at this, please help!

Hi all - relatively new at 420 growing, have been growing hydro for years. Using bubbleponics, great lighting, etc. but got a nasty infection of root aphids. Solved with some help from Ed Rosenthal and nicotine tea soak, but took a heavy load on the plants. For instance, I have 6 Purple Arrows who are now spindly and have been vegging for a month with no sign of being ready to put into flower. We use ANutrients, all the right light and Co2, air movement, and even some Root Exelerator. Wondering if these will eventually recover, or best to start that batch over!
