What is the significance of artists like Jay Z doing those signs? It seems there is none, especially if the majority of the audience is oblivious to it. The ones who notice it talk about it on forums like this but in what way does it matter that they are flaunting it? Do you place any significance on it, Rat?

That's the whole point -- most of their audiences are oblivious to it. Those who are aware of it are laughed at when they mention it. It's mostly an inside joke kind of thing. Jay-Z and Kanye are not part of the "illuminati" as some claim, but they are, however, tools of said people, and are told to flash these symbols. They know who they're working for and what they need to do to stay relevant. It's basically just another way they rub it in our faces. Basically Kanye and all these other entertainers are promoted to the top to further erode society and culture. People worship these people and try to emulate them, which is what those in power want. Like I said, Kanye is a horrible person and I am not at all a fan of him as a person. Professor Griff from Public Enemy has claimed that Kanye had his mother ritually murdered to cement his own fame, though who knows if that is actually true.
