it has been about 2 or 3 months until I planted my moonflower, and it will not seem to bloom. I water it everyday, and have tried fertilizer..any suggestions?

this is kind of off the track, but do moonflowers smell anything like the gorgeous smelling moonflower products from the body shop? i don't think i've ever seen moonflowers...

Depending on where you live, they usually flower in the summer. So it may not be warm enough where you are for it to flower, yet. Each flower opens in evening and night time and shrivels in morning.

(edited) oh, never mind, I see your problem is with blooming, not with getting it to grow *doh*

too much fertilizer might be the problem, especially if it's high in nitrogen. Look for a kind that has a really high middle number (like superphosphate) to encourage blooms.

I'm sorry I was so short in my answer, but the garden waits for no one. Now that I have a little more time, I'd like to say that moonflower is one of my favorites. Every year I plant several. I've built a supporting frames of 2"x2"s around areas where I sit outside. The moonflowers, of course bloom at night, smell soooooooo great to sit around and rest after all day of farming.

It's too early in the year for mine to bloom. They look like this:
