GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert is trailing in her bid for reelection in Colorado, as Republicans reckoned with bleaker-than-expected results in the midterms. Adam Frisch had 50.88% of the vote compared to Boebert's 49.12%, with 89% of the votes counted: Rep. Lauren Boebert on the House steps of the Capitol on Monday, January 4, 2021.
The race is still too close to call but its not looking good Before the election results After the first election results began to come in looks more like a funeral
A few of these radical right-wingers may have made it through the gauntlet last night but at least it does not seem like a red wave or a signal to DJT and the rest of them that they have secured America for themselves.
Poor Lauren Blow-bert. I guess she will have to go back to waiting tables in a miniskirt and holster again.
Wow! 121 pages about these aholes! That's all they care about, getting noticed, getting more followers. The more outrageous they are the more publicity they get. But they have little to show as representatives. Hopefully this election will end the MAGA nightmare.
Margie's still around. Won re-election by 31 points. Jesus Christ, what is wrong with the folks in her district? But at least she's going to lose her right-hand woman, Lauren Boebert. Maybe Margie will hire her as part of her staff.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but... LATEST: Lauren Boebert maintains lead over Adam Frisch in Colorado's 3rd CD as vote count continues | Elections | coloradopolitics.com
@newo that is bad news. The harder bit of this is for me to accept that in a free and fair election, someone like her (who reminds me of a blow=up doll) or MTG have enough people voting for them to actually put them in office.
Democrats still have a path to victory in the house. So basically, she'll either continue to be a blabbermouth with a GED, or become a powerful chairman of a house sub-committee
That is the IRONY of it all. I admit, I snorted a bit of laughter when I read this just before I broke down in tears.
That's the thing about House Representatives, only the people in their district vote for them, unlike Senators who have to appeal to the entire state. MTG's district, Georgia's 14th, is hard-nosed conservative where most of the people would never vote Democrat. Lotta MAGAs and even QAnoners there. She could never be elected in Atlanta's district. Lauren Boebert's district, Colorado's 3rd, covers a lot of territory and is more diverse, thus she's in a close race. The district is west of Denver, where she could never be elected. A lot of people like these two "ladies" because they're feisty and stand up to the libs. Still, as is implied in the title, a Representative is supposed to represent their district and work to improve life there. How much has either one accomplished?
It just goes to prove a point....the right people just don't vote. You cannot tell me the vast majority of people in progressive Colorado want this skank in office - she's done nothing for that state but raise its stupidity level.
She is just like those that vote for her... Stupidity level remained the same. How it compares to other areas just pointed out how bad it actually is.
