6 You really need to read something more than Ayn Rand, your views on what is and isn’t ‘socialism’ is just plain weird it seems to cover everything from liberal mindfulness to Stalinism. Just saying ‘cooperation over competition’ shows up yet again just how simplistic your world view is and how dominated by the either/or - black or white mentality. In the real world it’s a lot more complex. In the real world it is a lot more blurred for example you can have and need cooperation in a team but they can be in competition with other teams. But there has to be a level playing field for there to be a fair and equal chance of success. I mean we have been through the whole ‘effort’ thing many times now, your ideas didn’t do so well the other times you’ve brought them up so why bring them up again? If two runners of equal potential run a race but one is placed just 10 metres from the finish line but the other has to do the full 100 meters, it doesn’t matter how much effort the second runner gives the first runner is going to win. We cannot chose to whom we are born and the greatest effect on a person’s life is where and to whom they are born. This can give someone advantages or disadvantages that can affect their whole lives and their possibility of having success or failure, and long before they have the independence to take actions themselves. I mean what effort can someone make to be born into advantage over disadvantage?
Ms. Southern asked a bunch of feminist marchers if they'd rather have women's rights or Islam. Somehow that's upsetting to people like you. Personally, I'd rather Islam be kept at a household level in my country, not at the mass political level where it runs our towns, villas, cities, and states. If you were as liberal as I am, you too would agree. The Oregon Desert" by E.R. Jackman and R. A. Long is what I'm reading now. It's about the life of cowboys and natural history in the west. I've taken a break from politics in my reading queue, as politics can be rather depressing and uninspiring when overexposed to it. I'm not a pure Randroid. Next, I will finish reading "the war on Boys" by Christina Hoff Sommers (one of the last remaining egalitarian feminists left). Then I'll read your "spirit level." Who knows, maybe it might turn me away from the dark side. If you weren't such a persistent tunnel vision reader, you might've caught what I said to Jokiefreak when I posted this source of Asians median households making more than $20k more than white households Median household income by race or ethnic group 2016 | Statistic. He also said that waiters in restaurants being rude to his Korean relatives is an example of white privilege, when I say it is just an example of staff being rude and impolite regardless the race. I could site plenty of examples of staff members being rude to me too. But I find no reason to make it a racial issue. Unless they are in fact being not sexist and racist against me as a white male (which has actually happened to me before), but I don't allow it to get to me. OK but I did use it sparingly as he shares very similar views that I do on white privilege. If you must know, I think white privilege is a divisive racist lie that is fabricated by academic marxists who sow the seeds of divisionism for political gains. They are hell bent on making minorities feel as if they still live in a pre-civil rights society with Jim Crow laws, and want to make the youngest generation of whites attone for crimes they never committed. They do this to capitalize on the minority vote for many years to come, and to instill a victim mindset toward these people while they continue to live in chains on the leftist slave plantation. And it's really fucked up if you ask me. But that's barely scratching the surface.
Maybe you can explain to me what kind of racist/bigot would date or procreate with someone outside of their own race? I'm trying really hard to figure this out. Well maybe you're very lacking in knowledge yourself on this matter as well. Did it not occur to you that racist slave owners procreated with slaves to make more of them to sell on the market? Did it occur to you that it wasn't likely out of love or attraction to their slave? I brought it up because you accused me of being a white nationalist bigot. If you make claims like that I will speak up. The truth is, you're so fringe with your extremist beliefs, that you'll think anyone slightly to the right of you is a bigot at best, and a white supremacist at worst. As I said, there is no winning with you. So in order for me to prove I'm not a bigot, I have to date not only a Hispanic Mexican woman, but also a black woman, a gay man, an Asian woman, and every other protected class on your list. Is that it?
Depends how you measure success in life. Sure I was born into more wealth and privilege than some people, but there are many other people who have much more than I do and I'm OK with it. What are these two runners racing toward? Are they racing toward success? If so, how do you define success? Do you see success as getting filthy rich with a gated beachside mansion with a private yacht as success? Personally, I define success not entirely in wealth, but in finding personal happiness and satisfaction in life. My dream is to live in a humble and cute little cottage by a creek out in the forest on a little piece of land, and I want to be married to a wife who will love and care for me. I also want to leave a small personal legacy behind me too in my professional life. Money cannot buy happiness. One of my favorite poems is "Richard Corey" by Edwin Arlington Robinson and it goes like ths: Whenever Richard Cory went down town, We people on the pavement looked at him: He was a gentleman from sole to crown, Clean favored, and imperially slim. And he was always quietly arrayed, And he was always human when he talked; But still he fluttered pulses when he said, 'Good-morning,' and he glittered when he walked. And he was rich - yes, richer than a king - And admirably schooled in every grace: In fine, we thought that he was everything To make us wish that we were in his place. So on we worked, and waited for the light, And went without the meat, and cursed the bread; And Richard Cory, one calm summer nig Went home and put a bullet through his head. It's a poem about a very rich man who had it all. Fame, fortune, respect, and all the town's peasant class wanted to be like him. But to the surprise of the reader, there was trouble in paradise. He put a bullet in his head. Many rich people have a lot going for them, but there are plenty who are not happy for whatever their reasons. Did Richard Corey find success despite being born a short distance from the finish line?
6 you have mentioned your girlfriend is not white several times. It does not cancel out all the other racist things you say. MANY racists say they can not be one because they have a friend or partner not like them. Your dick is not your brain you need to sort one of them out.
Hit a nerve I guess. I admit I am only fucking a white women so I am probably one of those secret leftist racists who exploit black people by telling them they are victims. People have been over this with you many times. You don't think you are a racist but most other people do. A fish does not know he swims. Anything I tell you will be denied because you don't see it like others.
So you've got nothing. Go figure. The problem with this mentality, trivializing the word "racist" to mean a person you merely disagree with. Is that the word becomes so overplayed and misused that people will eventually disregard. At worse this causes people to ignore REAL examples of racism when it actually happens. Just like the little boy who cried wolf, you're the little boy who cried racist.
You're a racist Six? I never realized that before. I have been called that as well, though I suspect it's because of my color. Though, that would mean the person calling me a racist, is actually practicing racism. Thankfully though there is a saving grace for them since "ALL white people are natural born racists" and "only white people can even BE racists". Don't believe me? Just visit any college lecture with "whiteness" in the title. I realize this post will soon have people decrying my words as heretical, imaginary and yet another indication of my audacity (since we ALL know that ALL white people live a privileged life on easy street). My care for that kind of whining is ebbing fast.
Hi George. Yeah apparently we are bigots for not seeing eye-to-eye with these folks on everything. LOL. That’s especially true with college lectures with “whiteness” in the title. I don’t let it get to me though. It’s just a buzzword they like to use to try and guilt their opponents into submission. It worked for many years, but now people are tired of their cult of political correctness, and it’s hard to take them seriously anymore.
The definition of the term: "Racist" has been greatly expanded recently to include behaviors previously labeled as merely: crude, backward, unsensitive, coarse, idiotic, judgemental et al.
6 You still have not answered the question – Your whole support for provocative agitators (like Bob) is not to leave such people alone it’s to try and rile them. Which as I’ve pointed out is likely to be counterproductive and play into the hands of extremist recruiters.
6 That is not an explanation it’s just a propaganda stance, it sounds like something being parroted. I mean for fuck sake just throwing out ‘academic marxists’ in the middle of it is a real give away as is ‘youngest generation of whites’ it’s like it’s been cut and pasted from some alt-right blog. I think you really need to spend some time outside of your bubble. The problem is that this is a complex issue and I personally think ‘white privilege’ as a term can be viewed in too a simplistic manner as just an attack on white people as a whole but it’s about highlighting a social advantage that can aid some white people, beyond what is commonly experienced by some people from certain non-white groups under the same social, political, or economic circumstances. People that think it's about ALL this or ALL that are thinking in too a simplistic way and should start living in the real world rather than through the prism of their bias and ideology. It’s just about understanding social and economic issues and problems, as I’ve explained to you before ignoring problems in your society does not mean they go away. Things are changing and I’d hope they would but casual and even overt racism still lingers against some groups.
6 LOL – not sure how this helps your position? You are saying a racist might go out with someone with brown or black skin if they got something out of it such as financial reward, their own pleasure or say to try and prove to others in an argument that they are not a bigot?
6 But why did you bring it up at all? It seems to me the only reason was to try and claim you are not a bigot, as I keep pointing out people who are not bigots don’t have to go around repeatedly saying they are not bigots. As I keep pointing out people who are not bigots don’t have to go around repeatedly saying they are not bigots. For fuck sake man please read the posts – TO REPEAT – A white male heterosexual doesn’t have to prove they are not racist or bigoted by going out with someone of a different skin colour, religion or of the same sex, they just have to not be a bigot or racist. Let’s go through it again, you wish to distance yourself from other alt-righters because other alt-righters are openly bigoted and even racist. To try and say you are not an alt-righter you say you are willing to go out with a brown Mexican girl – which is racist in the sense that you bring the race of the girl into it to prove you’re not racist. But why bring up the colour and nationality of the girl at all? And as pointed out just because someone want to go out a brown skinned girl doesn’t mean they are not bigoted toward others (Muslims, Black people, Jews, Hindu’s etc.)
6 Like most lefties I’m not interested in race, religion or nationality, I think more in terms of the socio-economics of people as a whole, it’s about bring the community together to work through any issues or problems in a rational and reasonable way. YES - I know race can come into it but mainly to point out that race should not be part of it and that to bring it in to cause division is racist or bigoted behaviour. There are many people from many backgrounds that understand their societies have problems with bigotry but I’m afraid there are others that would like to use and manipulate division to try and gain power. The problem is that those that lean right seem rather inclined to bring up such things as race or difference all the time, it is often hard to stop them bring it up and they some seem happy to associate with those that are overtly racist or bigoted. It has to be said that many on the right especially the alt-right seem obsessed by ‘others’ and spreading division. I’ve brought up welfare reform and got people from the right implying that certain races are lazier and less intelligent than others, I’ve talked about gun control and had right wingers imply certain racial groups are more violent and criminally minded than others. And some seem to want to tell you about how bad Muslims are in virtually any thread.
So let’s go back to the original post of this thread – What was the native population of London? The area has probably been inhabited since Neolithic times. What are the people that have arrived in mass that are inherently more violent than others? * Is the post racist, I’m unsure - is it divisive oh yes, definitely - it’s not about trying to bring the community together to solve problems it’s about telling one group of people that a problem is caused by another group of peoples.
