Like I already told you. He thinks banning knives will reduce violent crime, which is moronic at best. He also segregates men and women at his rallies. He even banned images of beautiful women in public. The same islamophiles who elected this idiot, and the same islamophiles who don't report a criminal's religious faith to Islam, and allowed the rape gangs to continue because it wasn't politically correct to arrest muslims.

 Whoa this is peak level wokeness right here!! :D

I don't think anybody on here will ever be as woke as you, my friend.

You clutch your pearls when I mention her nationality and skin tone. Your sentence sums up everything wrong with PC culture: You cannot describe someone's appearance without breaking the unwritten rules of political correctness. Tisk Tisk.

Lets say you get mugged and pick-pocketed; your wallet and passport are stolen. You see the perpetrator and remember his face, his accent, and skin color. When you call the police, and they ask you to describe him, are you merely going to say, "He was just a guy."?

I say she's a Mexican girl because she and her family moved to the USA from Mexico over 20 years ago. I say she's brown because I've been to Mexico thrice, and not all Mexicans are brown (contrary to stereotypical belief). Besides, how can I make my point that I'm a disappointment to the alt-right if I said I was dating, "Just a girl." You crack me up.

Milo got married to a black American man (Oh shit! I broke Balbus' rules of using skin tone and nationality to describe someone! Ooops)

If you wanna know what the alt-right really thinks about Milo, maybe you might wanna check and see what REAL white supremacist scum are saying: Stormer Book Club Crusade: The Final Solution to the Milo Problem

I believe that wealth, not skin tone, is privilege. Yet there's a ton of members on here who believe in the racist lie of white privlige

I believe that black people are able get ahead in life without freebies, welfare, and lowering the grading criteria in school. Yet there's countless members on here who support the racist policy of affirmative action.

I know that Islam is a multi-national religion that encompasses 2 billion people worldwide. Yet there are people on here who constantly mistake it for a racial identity.

Telling the truth about Islam seems to be grounds for 'insulting Islam' to a lot of people out there. It's a cult of mental imprisonment, like most other world religions. Except Islam is worse as it is an ideology that welcomes political tyranny and warfare - which is why I believe that globalists like Merkle are hellbent on bringing more if it into freer western societies.

So is that an excuse to treat muslim-based rape incidents more lightly? Just because rapists in the UK are more often white and Christian?

What's up with these questions? If you must know, I see something beautiful in this chick that goes beyond her brown skin or her Mexican heritage. And I think she could be potential relationship material. I met her when I took an accounting class; she was helpful to me when we studied together.

Affirmative action is racist? honestly man who are you kidding. White privilege is a racist lie? I think we all know that isn't the case.
You say I'm so out of touch, but you're the one who's out of touch with reality! You claim white privilege is a lie. You claim that the entire discipline of sociology is out of touch with reality! and I can't figure out why you won't just accept you're wrong beliefs are wrong. You want to be right so bad you've created a different reality for your little mind trip. Well there's more than one fucking race. There are a multitude of races and you're trying to sell this idea of yourself as a multi-cultural guy. I'm not buying it. I think Balbus is right. You're not that different from a racist saying he has black friends in defense. And Islam is a religion, yes. But we treat it just like a race and that's why people are up in arms about statements mentalities etc around it.

But you know what really bugs me? I don't think it's possible for a smart guy like you to not be able to wrap his head around this shit. You've got to be doing all this stuff deliberately to promote a racist mentality.

I'm not afraid to call you on it.

There was a time when the university system welcomed intellectual diversity, open diescussion, and different sets of opinion and worldview.

Your reaction to my post has hinted me in that you’ve heard only a one-sided worldview regarding race relations in our society from your university. That’s why my post has you triggered. And it’s a damn shame.

Why do you feel Islam must be treated like a race and not a religion?

What racist mentality do you think I am trying to promote?

Isn’t being multi-cultural a bad thing for left wing academics? You know, like the horrible crime of cultural appropriation?

Embrace other cultures, or demonize cultural appropriation? Pick one because you can’t have both.

White privilege is a racist lie. And people are waking up to it

LOL I love that ‘You clutch your pearls’ sounds like a double entendre – but sorry mate I don’t give a fuck about your girlfriends nationality or skin colour, BUT YOU DO – you brought it up especially to try and claim you are not bigoted toward others.

And that was my point why is it you keep having to try and prove you are not a bigot.

LOL - So you’re claiming your girlfriend mugs people?

Again it’s about relevance – I’d give the best description I could of the attacker because that would be relevant to the case – what relevance did you have for mentioning the woman’s nationality and skin colour - well the only reason you had was to try and claim you are not a bigot.

As I say most people who are not bigots don’t feel the need to go around constantly saying they are not bigots.

    *

As pointed out the alt-right has hard and lite wings, there is Milo, Lauren and you and there are the white supremacist, at one time both wings seemed happy to be under the one title, but I can see why the weaker lite wing now want to disassociate themselves from the more overt racists.

Can you explain what you mean by this? I mean do you understand wealth distribution in the US?

Well if you think wealth equates to privilege and white household are on average wealthier than those of other ethnic groups especially black household then you would have to conclude that privilege leans toward the white in US society.

In other words by your wealth definition white privilege exists.

Oh fuck man, we have been through this a length and in detail, your views didn’t hold up well then so why repeat them?

We’ve explained to you that your social Darwinist thinking just perpetuates social and economic bias.

I ask again have you done any of that reading that was recommended for you or are you really going to go through life basing virtual all of your political, social and economic thinking on the bad sci-fi ramblings of Ayn Rand?

It’s not a rapist it’s a - Muslim rapists, a brown Asian man from a Muslim background and you are going out with a brown Mexican girl of presumably a Christian background. Oh and I believe the majority of sexual assaults that occur in the UK are committed by white heterosexual men brought up in a predominantly Christian country.

Oh you really need things explained to you don’t you. – OK

So did the person that raped the girl only do it because he was Muslim, how about been brown or Asian? Did the rapist do it because he was white was it because he was heterosexual? I mean the Tommy Robinson’s of this world are making a big thing about these Muslim rapists but you don’t find them outside making such a big fuss over white rapists.

You like Tommy seem to want to put a lot of emphasis on the muslim, in these rape cases, to me they are just rape cases.

So colour, nationality, race or religion had nothing to do with it - she is just woman you like.

So why did you feel you needed to emphasis her nationality or skin colour other than to try and show you are not a bigot?

So does a person’s colour, nationality, race or religion, need emphasising if they are on trial for a crime, I’d say no but for some reason people like you and Tommy seem to want to put a lot of emphasis on them being Muslim.

There are a number of people in the UK, US and other places around the world that like to emphasis the supposed criminality of differing groups according to colour, race or religion, it’s a technique as old as history. It’s all about building up division and hatred ‘hey look at them, the rapists, the murders, the conspirators the traitors etc etc its been going on from before Nero burning the Christians, up to the lynching’s of the KKK, the gassing of the Jews and the ethnic cleansing of the Rohingya.

It keeps happening because there are always those that find hate easier than thought and those that are ill informed and unquestioning, and there are always those willing to manipulate such people to gain or hold onto power.

So this is where I wonder about what solutions people like you have, actual rational solutions, it’s like you just wish Muslims would go away, either leave places like Britain or just stop following Islam.

How would that translate into political policy other than those that lean to the authoritarian (banning Islam and forceful deportations?)

So what do you actually want done, if there is an aim beyond just pissing people off with ‘provocative’ publicity stunts or divisive rhetoric, what is it?

    1. I don't feel Islam must be treated like a race and not a religion. But I think it bears some consideration that at present Muslims (followers of the religion) have been stigmatized by the war. With that in mind, realize that there are stereotypes about Middle Easterners that have been used in comedy skits and so forth. Also, bad names they are called are commonplace. So, being that they are beleaguered by the same sorts of hatred as we see with other people of color, I believe it does them some good to be given the same consideration we offer the other recipients of (racial) hate.

    2. I think you're trying to allow racism to "get away with it" so to speak. You're playing devils advocate.

    3. I don't want to label myself, and don't think I'm on the outer rings of anything on the left... But I think multi-culturalism is a good thing. Cultural appropriation isn't good. There is a good way to embrace another culture, and there's a bad way. There's a balance and harmony that must be maintained.

    4. I don't think they're mutually exclusive at all.

It goes on a bit more, but you get the drift of what I'm trying to say. There is a good way to appropriate, and, of course, a bad way.

Macklemore has a song about it. In the song he embraces his role as a white person in an African-American movement: Black Lives Matter. It's pretty cool that Macklemore thinks about this sort of thing. I think this is the true direction of awakening; not the opposite as you would have us believe. White people aren't under attack. It's really people of color who are suffering.

It's pretty long (8min?), but here are the lyrics too.

That is the question, but I'll bet it has nothing to do with Muslims, other than using them as tools in a broader political agenda (To paraphrase Six-eyed on another thread:Muslims are a menace, but ain't it awful what the Chinese are doing to them and those contemptible liberal snowflake SJWs are hypocritical scumbags for letting it happen. Where's the outrage?!). I won't presume to characterize 6-eyed's motives, but people he emulates--like Lauren and Milo--seem to be trying to gin up xenophobia, along with any other wedge issues they can find, in order to build working class populist support to attack the political left and support right wing causes and leaders like Trump. Behind it seems to be some twisted Bannonesque Fourth Turning-based master plan to disrupt the existing system so that a right-wing objectivist-libertarian (or whatever) New Order can rise from the ashes. For Social Injustice Warrior sociopaths like Lauren and Milo, part of the motivation probably lies in their self-satisfaction at their own skill as spin doctors in manipulating people.

In other words: grasp at your rosary beads like a mortified schoolmarm. You got all up in arms when I described her appearance in the proper context.

Seriously, people like you are living evidence that the modern left is becoming exactly like the easily offended social conservatives of the mid 20th century, who wanted to ban rock music. Except you seek to ban opinions that don't comply with your globalist narrative.

Conservatism is the new counter culture

Perhaps the left should've listened to Bill Maher back in the 90s when he went on about how ridiculous political correctness was.

 What are you talking about? How'd you come up with that one from my mugging analogy? She's not my girlfriend either, so maybe you ought'a work on your reading comprehension. Go outside, take a few deep breaths and get a grip.

I see, so there's no winning with you is there. You've clearly hinted to me that you're one of those types who say it's bigoted not to date outside one's race, but at the same time you can date outside your race and still be a bigot.

I'll jot that down so I don't forget.

Did you not see my Charlie Kirk video in post #463? He breaks it down very well. I don't feel the need to repeat myself because you choose to be a tunnel-vision reader.

Secondly, doesn't that make YOU the bigot to assume that ALL white people are privileged and wealthy because the statistics you read show that white people (along with Asians) are in the wealthier statistic? What about the poor whites?

Try telling the poor white boys from broken families who have no scholarships available to them about their white privilige.

Try telling the poor white girls from Telford and Rotherham who reported these grooming gangs to the police, while they stood by and allowed it to continue, about their white privilege.

I actually think black people are owed reparations. But not for the reasons you may think. I think they are owed reparations for the left-wing's 50 years of broken political promises, as their communities continue to get worse and worse, and the racial divide grew under the first black president. The reparation money should be spent on giving them top-notch schools in their communities, so they can be given the same access to education and opportunities offered to those who live in better-off districts. This way, their education will prove that their skills are on par with students from wealthy areas, therefore eliminating the need for affirmative action once and for all.

However, I guess you'd still find a way to call me a white supremacist for talking like this, won't you....

Not all my upbringings and philosophical outlook come from Rand.

A lot of it comes from personal life experiences and my parenting.

I think my first exposure to socialism was at my science fair in 2nd grade. I worked very hard on having the most kick ass display with my chemistry project that I worked hard on. Rather than giving out blue, red, and white ribbons for the competitive element like they did when my big sister did it that year, they all handed us green ribbons as our participation trophies. I wanted a blue ribbon like my sister got, but the socialist parents who took over that event that year didn't want other children who didn't put in the full effort to feel bad about getting white ribbons. It also didn't help that the Jr. basketball and little league team were all given the same participation trophies at the end of the season, despite being undefeated.

I think my parents were also influential. My dad is a Jeffersonian libertarian, but he supports open borders, GMO foods, and NAFTA, so we have our disagreements and agreements. My mom is a paleocon who seems to have some faith left in the GOP, even though she admits most of them suck. I was fortunate enough to have good parents who took more effort into educating me outside of school. Family is so important. This is why the statists want to raise the cost of living through taxation, so both parents are working full time. While the children are raised by the state through schools and after-school programs. It's indoctrination to eliminate family tradition and values.

So what's your story? Where does your statism and leftism come from?

False. I'm more than happy to welcome muslims into my country if they wish to leave their tyrannical homelands behind, and start life anew with their own American dream. Not the ones who want to import the fringe-right, illiberal policies that turned their country to a mess in the first place.

Sorry dude, white privilege isn't a racist lie. It's not surprising that a privileged white kid like Charlie Kirk should say it's a lie. That's why his corporate donors love him. But I disagree. African-Americans have made great progress over the past half century, but the legacy of slavery, apartheid and racial discrimination have left their mark. As a privileged white man, you can walk around a store without being followed,or walk down the street without worrying about being shot. African-American students are more than six times more likely than white students to attend a high-poverty school, while white students are more than three times more likely than black students to attend a low-poverty school. The more black students there are in a school district, the less public money that school will receive. The unemployment rate for African-Americans in 2017 was nearly double that of whites--8.1% for African-Americans, 4.3% for wites. E-16. Unemployment rates by age, sex, race, and Hispanic or Latino ethnicity black unemployment is significantly higher than white unemployment regardless of levels of educational attainment. Pew researchers found that white males surpassed every other group even after controlling for eduction. https://www.theroot.com/yes-you-can-measure-white-privilege-1794303451 White Privilege Is Real, and Now There’s Research to Prove it
Next Time Someone Says 'White Privilege Isn't Real,' Show Them This | HuffPost https://everydayfeminism.com/2015/10/life-lessons-white-privilege/ 9 Everyday Examples Of White Privilege
I don't think it's constructive to use the notion as a club to stir up racial hatred or white guilt. No individual white person should feel guilty about a situation (s)he didn't cause or contribute to. But recognition of social realities is important in understanding the problems of minorities in our society and working toward effective solutions.

Whether you treat it as a race or a religion, Islamophobia is ethnic bigotry that does real harm to humans. I think you're trying to promote the brand of bigotry that tries to exploit xenophobia to promote a right-wing agenda by enlisting white working class support.

I haven't kept up with the fads of left-wing academia. When I was in college, not that long ago, multi-culturalism was regarded as a good thing to be promoted. There are of course the proverbial "nutty professors", often in liberal arts departments of elite universities, who are notorious for extreme ideas. I happen to agree with you about cultural appropriation. No group has a patent or copyright on its culture. Cultural syncretism contributes to the vitality of civilizations. But I suspect you're using academics the same way you're using Muslims--as stereotypical foils to rally support from the under-educated.

I don't understand the whole "I am not racist because Islam is not a race" angle. It's certainly something the alt-right repeats like a parrot though. It's technically true but it's a dishonest statement. Your issue is with people who look a certain way and live life by a certain code their culture if you will. Which of course is not White culture. So it's basically the same thing as "race" where it counts.

All alt-right polices by nature rely on race too. Like how does customs ban someone for example from entering the USA? It would likely be on their appearance. What color is their skin? Do they have a beard? A white Muslim will get through because none of that is possible with him.

A white man with a beard is not a terrorist he is an aplha male not a soy boy. A brown man must be Osama.

But you tend not to make that distinction when you try to whip up anti-Muslim sentiment by lurid accounts of mass rape. The question is how you regard and treat Muslims before you know where they stand politically. Do you give them the benefit of the doubt, or assume that they're dangerous? The way you relate to them can become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

And I don't understand the far-left's sycophantic defense of Islam either. Maybe you can educate me on this. The DNC used to be the party of religious indifference and the best enforcers of keeping religion and state separate. Marx once said "religion is the opiate of the masses" and you'd think the left actually believed this when you see the shit left wing journalists stir about christianity (and righteously so). But then when you see how much they coddle Islam and call anyone who dares criticize it a racist, you realize that they are just as bad as bible belt republicans.

Yet I honestly think that the reason a lot of people buy into the "Islam is a race" fallacy, is because they have a preconceived notion that all middle easterners practice Islam. In a way this is slightly racist to assume this.

I dunno about that, Islam has a strong presence in Albania and many parts of South East Europe.

The alt-right is dead. Richard Spencer and the mainstream media killed it, by turning it into a Black Lives Matter clone for angry white people. I'd rather identity politics didn't exist at all. But what can you do?

This is true. He was from Dakar, Senegal. He was a guy of few words, but his other friends from Senegal were a riot. We aren't roommates anymore because I moved to the other side of the state because I landed a better job. For a muslim, he sure drank a lot and loved strip clubs. Even though pork was haram for him, he didn't mind that I cooked bacon from time to time.

He introduced me to Mathart, and I've been hooked on this music ever since MathTricks EP by MathArt | ReverbNation (Xeep is my favorite)

White privilege is a divisive lie invented by academic racists to spread division and interracial hostility.

Systemic racism is a lie too. People of color are not oppressed either.

There's no system put in place that is designed to forcefully keep minorities from buying a fancy car or a bigger house, getting an education, getting wealthy, and transferring from one class to another. It's all smoke and mirrors. There is nothing that is stopping minorities from succeeding.

You talk about being followed around in a store. Biases usually from certain experiences. If a store owner has experienced a higher number of black customers trying to shop lift, they have every reason to be extra suspicious when a black customer is acting sketchy. Same thing if a store owner has the same problem with more white shop lifters than other races. Store owners also have a right to be suspect of a sketchy white customer as well.

Ah yes, propagate the white privilege lie to me by explaining how Latinos and blacks are doing worse economically than whites, but deliberately neglect to mention Asians who make $81,000 median annual income compared to whites who make $65,000. Median household income by race or ethnic group 2016 | Statistic

    This is getting real old.

You can talk as much smack about Charlie Kirk as you want. Although I fully agree with his statements on white privilege, his Turning Point USA has embraced an "Identity politics for me, but not for thee" mentality so he doesn't mean much to me.

Celebrating cultural diversity and values was celebrated at my college. I was an undergrad not all that long ago either. And I've gone back since. I'm glad we agree on cultural appropriation. It's is the reason why we have pizza parolors, sushi, tacos, anime, soccer, world music, medicinal innovations, technology improvements, and more. And I'm glad we agree on this. But this academic propaganda trying to bring back segregation in the name of social justice, is spreading like cancer. Harvard recently had their first Black Only graduation ceremony. And my local community college a couple years ago celebrated black history month, womens history month, and then they made up their own "month of whiteness" to propagate the toxic ideas of white privilege and segregation.

It's no wonder these academic types go apeshit at the thought of a conservative speaker coming to campus to explain why this is a bunch of bullshit.

I give them the benefit of the doubt. I also don't assume all liberals are fringe SJW activists either when I first meet them.

The problem is that hardcore believers of every religion will try to find a way to put their religion into politics. While I don't like Christianity intervening with governance, Islam has a much more prescriptive approach to governance that we'd be much better off without.

You might keep that example in mind the next time you overgeneralize about Muslims.

It depends on the minorities. As for African-American being able to buy fancy cars, etc, of course they can, if they can afford them. I've cited you statistics that they are less likely statistically to be able to do so because of the lingering effects of institutionalized racism established by slavery, and Jim Crow in the South, de facto segregation in the North, that wasn't officially changed until the sixties. Post #475. Handicapped by these disadvantages, they were now allowed to compete on an even playing field with whites. Affirmative action was devised to try to overcome that legacy, and it has been, by and large, effective. But it only works when the beneficiaries aren't too handicapped to take advantage of it. Many African-Americans still live in a culture of poverty in neighborhoods that are still hard to get out of. It is certainly true that today it's not accurate to make statements that all African-Americans are disadvantaged in comparison with all whites. There are African-American professional football players, entertainers, and now doctors, dentists, accountants, media personalities, etc., who could buy and sell me, and their kids growing up in an affluent environment can't really be said to be victims of white privilege. The Supreme Court recognized that in Gratz v. Bollinger, when it struck down a University of Michigan policy in undergraduate admissions that gave points automatically just for being black. The companion case of Grutter v. Bollinger upheld the University of Michigan Law School's affirmative action policy which took race into account as one factor in evaluating an individual's case for admission, and recognized that a white kid from Appalachia might be more disadvantaged than a black kid from an affluent suburb. In my opinion, that's the way it should work. As for other races, first generation immigrants tend to experience discrimination, but if they work their asses off, as many do, the second generation will be better off, and the third generation will be pretty much assimilated.

You've shifted ground from white privilege to store owners' rights. Whether or not the store owner (or police officer) is justified in being suspicious, an innocent African-American is still at a disadvantage.

Ah, yes, the Asians. Ordinarily, talk of white privilege comes up in relationship to Latinos and blacks, where it is valid. True, Asians are also a racial category, and they are doing quite well, although even they may suffer from racial bigotry. My Korean sister-in-law and my brother tend to get seated in out of the way parts of restaurants and when she visits Oklahoma, she's occasionally been treated rudely in shops. Why have Asians done so well? They have an achievement-oriented culture and tight family structure, thanks partly to Confucius. African-Americans don't have that. The racist could blame it on them; sociologists blame it on their history of slavery, segregation and poverty.
