windy here....expecting to see toto go flying by any minute...crazy out there

 

Wind noise has a tendency to scare me. I've never gone through a tornado or anything like that, but the howling puts fear in me. We get lots of howling up in the alps here, but what's an incredible sound is the howling through the pines can sound like squealing at times.

One horse ride I remember very vividly the cloud cover came over and the wind picked up and so I need to trot on back home. All the pines were squealing and even my horse was a little unsteady. The pines break. And I mostly ride in warmer months so they are fully dry etc. But when they snap, it's a very loud crack and I had trees all around us cracking and cracking. Once we got out into a clearing the howling was very deafening. Hard to explain even.

 

Ive had a couple micro burst on the house, one blew the front door open just snapping the frame, flooding torrent rain flowing in.. and tornadoes just over the hill from me three times, and more times often in the same location.

 

The only thing I have seen is really small one, with leaves and sand
it was on a highway we were travelling down. it looked just like a real tornado but like 1/4 of the size. I'd never seen one before or anything like it so it was a memory burn. and i don't think i have ever really said anything to anyone.. ever. really about it. so there ya go.

 

the hardwood from my sisters house is burning way way way hotter than gthe free crap from my neighbor....

wind freaks me out too.

i want to be set up so i can grow a range of things. i would like to stock up, and then grow other things in the off windows. and especially to have some fresh produce over winter.

 

Life is good

Worked hard all day, got a case of IPA, an ounce worth of various strains and my hunny coming over in a couple hours.

Fuck yeah

I've designed myself some targets for my pool table out of printer paper. So it has a bullseye, a middle and a outer ring. About half the size of a A4 squared off. Going to help my pool play. Also made some penny size rings out of paper with a hole punch centred as dot points for my balls as I train. I'm much happy with my practice this morning, I have a comp in 2 hours so I'm high in expectations. I just took a pre trainer which is making me jittery. =[
