Yes I love listening to him but that idiot Darrel Waltrip does my head in. He just loves the sound of his voice. And he talks so much nonsense it's hard to believe he'd ever raced a car he talks with no idea. The other day in the duels he just kept running his mouth and Jeff said something would happen and Darrel says "oh I don't know about that Jeff" and then it happens and I sit there and say Darrel would just shut the fuck up! Please! And my miss is laughing at me. But he's such a Dick.

Well it just tells me things like, the general population of fans response would indicate a "good" finish would be a close finish with the possibility of a nasty wreck. Which tells me it was most likely a green white checkered finish which also tells me the ending could possibly be marred with wrecks. So if it comes down to a two lap shootout, do I even bother watching the first 198 laps?

Now I might be completely wrong about it all, but you're giving someone with way too much active imagination way too many ideas to be conjured up in her mind about one of the things she's passionate about and asked not to be talked about!

Since I got my new and wonderful internet connection, I facebook a lot. I especially like geology and rock sites. Also something called Atlas Obscura.

 

I didn't open Facebook it was a notification that popped on my phone that I skimmed and my mind processed the information, so I've turned all the notifications off now. I never use Facebook on race day until I know results.

And trust me I'm very disappointed in myself. It's usually one of the funnest days of my year in terms of sports. I should just have never turned the phone on or came online.

 

Ive DVR but races are something I watch live, like the stupidbowl. I cant do commercials when watching Hoda and Kathie Lee tho..

 

I'll be watching in a couple of hours or less. I'm excited.
Normally before if I'd heard the results of the win id get really anxious and wonder where Jeff finished. Actually I'd ruin that result and look it up. But, I'm not like too anxious over Chase yet. I know he probably won't win for a while, I just want to watch him sort it all out for the first two years so I don't have this pressure and anxiety right now, nor have a felt all week. Feels good.

Whereas for Jeff it was a win or nothing for me. I expected him to win, he was good enough to win and he needed to win.

 

I always like stupidbowl commercials. lol

When Halmark cards used to have commercials, they would make me tear up even when I had seen them a number of times. I miss those commercials.

When regular NFL season is going on and the games are being played, all those commercials coming on what seem like every 10 minutes rip my nerves apart.

my dvr dont have the capacity to tape forever. i wish.. I not missing anything tho, sometimes it will tape Dr Phil like last week there was these twin junkie chicks,, wow are they a trip and half or another whole holy shit they get high like you and I and no other ever could..
