Keeping On The Mindful Path When You Are Surrounded By Criticism?

    I understand the feeling of being criticized and misunderstood. I dealt with that a lot growing up.

    Every time a person (family or other)hurts you,practice mindfulness.FIrst,acknowledge your feelings....."Ok,what he/she said really hurt my feelings,and now Im upset.I feel angry and my body feels tense"then re focus your mind in the present moment.What are you doing right now?What can you see?hear?Smell?etc.
