Certainly. There are practical reasons for it. For one we only have sense perception in a limited range. It is also anthropocentric influencing psychic tension and in this it is limited in scope. Measurements apply to the movement of the planets of our solar system against the backdrop of the zodiac, again another limiting feature. Another thing is measurements are by angular degree not distance. As far as limited time period, the procession of planets has a time line that can be followed backward or forward from the current position. We can enter anywhere on the time line but of course our own lives are of a limited period. Astrological influences are like a circadian rhythm on a larger time scale than that of daily dawn to dusk. The influences can be consistent but how we respond to them may not be so there is an enormous variety of effects. So we can't predict exactly what you will do although according to personality some things are more likely than others and we can see you will do it during a snow storm as an example. But regardless my point about accuracy is that that the measurements are sound mathematically. Ptolemy codified western astrology in the first century.

Influences that don't overwhelm may be classified as subtle. How significant are subtle influences, well gravity is the weakest force but it controls the largest or broadest movement. Slipping into a different gear our intent is similar in scope. In finest terms our intent is to be and being real this intent must an element of reality. We intend to be because we are intended to be.

    Oh Jesus H.F.M. Christ!!

String theory actually does have some logic and mathematical PROOFS even if it is ultimately wrong about the quantum universe. Simplified to practical real science uses, it is at the very least a working model for quantum objects over time (4 Dimensions). We know a baseball is a white sphere shaped object with some stitching. But in 4D, a baseball over a period of time in space is really a white streak, it would kind of look like a string. The earth is moving at 19 miles a second around the Sun, the 4D earth year object looks like a blue ring around the sun. But not really, a closer look shows it is a oval, but not really. Even closer it is a squiggly spiral from moon gravity wobble, and spiraled around a big bright streak we call a sun. The sun would be a half billion mile arc inside the milky way galaxy surrounded by billions of other bright arcs. That is a 4D universe, arcs and spirals and wiggles, all objects do look like strings over time.

What PROOFS or LOGIC does your God have?

Real Science is also not going to drill String Theory into young minds as an ULTIMATE FINAL TRUTH. Real science is very honest about being open to new discoveries and theories and replacing obsolete theories and vigorous peer review... Real science will not obstruct the review process. Real science is not authoritarian. Real science will not emotionally abuse kids into brainwashed submission to String Theory, Real science will not encourage wars and genocides over String Theory. Real science will not literally BREED, through viciously selective manslaughter, thousands and thousands of generations of people predisposed to blindly believing in String Theory... RELIGION does all of that.

Ignorance is not science, but there is science to the ignorance.
    Human nature.

It needn't be a matter of belief. We do observe congruence. The specter of belief arises when your ability to perceive is challenged. Belief in these terms is a symbol chosen to represent an unknown or poorly understood variable. What is going on here is that we do not trust our subjective level of apprehension. This is because of the mixed messages we receive from each other and the way we inconsistently respond to stimulus. We are taught to be opinionated rather than open minded. If you are not open minded then you can't objectively discern you own contributions to the state of affairs you see or how it appears to you. Again you need to polish the mirror of reflection so that you yourself are not distorting the image. We distort the image through judgment. I mentioned several challenges we face to clear perception. It is not a moralistic world but an energetic one.

" But in 4D, a baseball over a period of time in space is really a white streak,"

More like a double helix. For one the observer is part of the equation in how a thing appears. So there is this spiral dance through space.

Actually no. There is nature and human behavior falls under that heading. There is another reason for ignorance and in fact the only legitimate one, it is not knowing. I don't hold your's against you and you shouldn't either. Nature, human or otherwise is not deficient in any respect. Only our understanding can be suspect.

blah blah blah. I've posted several articles regarding SCIENTISTS who talk about a variety of subjects from the brain not being the producer of consciousness to falsifiability not being the one and only key to science to Seasonal Biology being a covert name for Astrology and on and on and the only response i get is that it's all bullshit.

We have a majority population that has been bred and conditioned to believe in religious superstitious nonsense. We have religions with infiltrations, sponsorships, and associations with all levels of education from grade schools to universities. It should not be any surprise that we have an endless pile of bad pseudo-science to sift through and people that manipulate and fabricate things for religion, fame, money, or other dishonest agendas. Or other people simply fooling themselves from their own conditioned beliefs. People believe what they want, confirmation bias, denial, human nature. “I Wouldn’t Have Seen It if I Hadn’t Believed It” - Marshall McLuhan, a commentary on the pitfalls of human nature.

Until you have experienced death, it doesn't matter how many degrees in Science you have, there is simply no way to prove or disprove the existence of a God or Afterlife. the NDE is the closest thing we've got, which is starting to be respected by Scientists a little bit. But the future will bear more interest.

The thing about Near Death Experiences,
    THEY'RE NOT DEATH EXPERIENCES!

Death experience is not falsifiable, God is not falsifiable. Stop trolling a SCIENCE forum with superstitious bat shit. REAL SCIENCE is falsifiable, that is it is subject to testings and replications and scrutiny by unbiased third party qualified peers with nothing to gain but upholding the integrity of REAL SCIENCE. Anything less is NOT REAL SCIENCE. Any rational person has to be super suspicious of any ""SCIENTIST"" who doesn't stand behind the standards of REAL SCIENCE and REAL SCIENTIFIC METHODS.

So take your fucking voodoo magickaakaa superstitious pseudo-science scam ass illogical ignorant bat shit bullshit to a fucking religious forum where it belongs.

Don't have an epileptic fit over it. I know it sucks to get your paradigm pushed against. But you are part of Orthodoxy. Science Orthodoxy. Sorry :)

And they ARE death experiences. One man was clinically dead for 3 hours, meaning his heart stopped working, and then came back to report his experience. How is that not a death experience? What the hell do you call it?

And stop lumping Magick and Astrology in with Religion. They are two radically different things. Religions separate God and Man. Magick and Astrology make Man realize that he is one with God and the forces of Nature. Psychedelics do the exact same thing.

Esoteria is between Religion and Science. There's something in Alchemy known as the coincidentia oppositorum ...the uniting of opposites. This is the greatness that is Alchemy. Science and Religion are the polar extreme opposites in this scenario.

As you can see, Alchemical art and symbology is very similar to Psychedelia, which Mckenna has always pointed out. They both deal with the dissolution of egoic separation of consciousness and have one realize that we live in a holistic universe.

Well at least 3 of those people interviewed have appeared on the television show Through the Wormhole , so the same argument could easily be turned here.

I read a book called Farewell to Reality by Jim Baggot which makes a compelling case that String Theory and other "Theories of Everything" shouldn't be considered science. He also mentions that the way the media tries to portray some of these ideas is disingenuous. That the media is selling some T.O.E among other speculations as fact, to undiscerning individuals, when they pretty much all rely on at least one essential claim, that has yet to have any supporting physical evidence. (I.e. the elementary particle the graviton)

Regardless of the politics however, I think it is the 'weirdness' of quantum mechanics compared to our experience of reality, which makes some of these issues difficult to approach and define.

I can respect that. I feel that at least when you counter my posts that you are genuine about it. I put you above Writer for that reason. Writer may be intelligent and whatnot but he has that snobby ass attitude. I'm always looking for a general discussion honestly but i'm not down with that authoritarian science attitude.

by the way i completely forgot about recording some chords for you to jam to. look for something on monday or tuesday when i have access to my recorder.

I just don't understand why the modern world has lost touch with the paradigm that man and the cosmos are interlinked in a fractal way. The old scientists still had this vibe. It's obvious that everything is interdependent in the universe. Uni means One.
