Yeah. It was common bypass surgery so she came out fine. Every time we talk on the phone I try to remind her of how much better she is doing than her father was at her age. She's developed diabetes now. I've made sure to say everything I feel needs to be said so that there's no unfinished business when the time comes. C/S, Rev J
Good. I did the same just last year with my father in law. My own parents are both gone now and were told how I felt before they went. My heart is fine so far but I do have diabetes an3 am half blind because of it. Hate those daily needles! My father in law had a triple bypass a few years back but never had a heart attack. They caught it before that happened.
Yeah. I honestly believe that in the long run it's better that way. Say what needs to be said before it's too late. C/S, Rev J
One of my favourite TV shows ever. If I see House, I upvote! I recently rewatched the whole show back to back and it still holds up. Dr House is one of the greatest TV anti-heroes ever. Great show.
When my wife was very sick in the ICU, I joked to the nurse practitioner, who was a friend of ours, that we should call House, he would figure it out. She said you have no idea how much I hear that. She said we have something better without the attitude. Turns out the Doctors who deal with very odd sicknesses work miracles like House and the team was able to figure out that she had a very rare metabolic disorder that affects less than .1% of the population.
