made a lot of nachos this week..

probably gonna be my dinner tonight..

I put layers of stuff on.. get all creative n shit after hittin the herb...

"mmm maybe a little tomatoe,, OH DO I have avo? well a little meat, some cheese, maybe some hot sauce in there" gotta be careful not to put so much and make it disgusting. Or so much cheese wont melt.

I love nachos.

 

A hot shower at last... A real one. As long as I want...



Snowed here, not much collected.

 

i loved the snow.. was outside with Red walking in it. her first snow. wasnt much to take pictures of so I didnt bother..

 

Two new headlights..... almost 40 dollars. I blew one of my low beams jiggling the switch to fix another issue - but they were probably already old when I got the car, they've been it it at least 4 years. Shelled out for the somewhat-pretend-brighter ones, and between that and just being new, my car feels all sorts of luxurious compared to how it was.

And, got a silicon graphics mug and a john deere hat at the thrift shop for 54 cents total, and was given a mate gourd and bombilla by a friend.

So I got ripped off on headlights but made out like a bandit on everything else.

 

They don't make any money helping you. If the car is parked on their lot they do a little work and get to charge a lot . If they write you a speeding ticket same thing, but when you call after a break in they show up 40 minutes later and probably never catch the guy.

 

bewbs. i need a new bra or two. bras should be cheaper, i hate shopping for overpriced crap. but the girls are going to need some support.

and before hubby gets home today i will move light stuff in the garage (mom's "room") have him help me reorient the bed, and then i will build a canopy around it using my old bed frame. garage is uninsulated, and quite drafty. i need to get it arranged in such a way as to be worth running a heater out there. we are already hemorrhaging money with my mom here. gotta make it make more sense. i am not risking stress right now.

 

I've been running around like crazy lately, I'm looking forward to my winter break. I have trouble saying no to people, so I end up volunteering too much of my time. Oh well, I shouldn't complain, it's my own fault.

My wife managed to get some time off work, so she has 10 days in a row off for christmas. Because of the way the holidays worked out, she only needed to take 3 vacation days to get the 10 days. It will be nice to visit the family for more than 3 or 4 days.

 

I put new headlights in my car a few months ago and it made a big difference. They are still a bit foggy though, so I bought one of those kits to sand and polish the plastic covers. Hopefully that helps.... I want them as bright as possible, because there is no way that my car would win against a moose.

 

Headlights.... Not working correctly on my car. But then I don't drive at night so it's not high on the priority list.

 

GOOD GAWD!!!!!!!

I think my dog ate a skunk last night.
The odors coming out of that dog are horrific to say the least!
My eyes are watering, my throat burns and the wife ran out of the room.

'Historical fiction' often implies it is a fictional story set in another time period which is realistically portrayed. The term historical fantasy would fit Inglorious bastards better. And although I can appreciate the tributes in style to the Leone spaghetti westerns (which I just love to death) it is so thick and obvious it almost becomes a bit too much of a borrowing game.

those headlight polishing kits work great if you have a lot of patience to do it right

best way is take them right off and bring in the house ...

and dont use the rougher papers unless really necessary...only the worst worst ones need to be done all four steps...if you start with rough when not needed it just adds tons of time

Dog stole my amanita /fly argaric mushroom. salivating all over the place. nothing fatal .. stupid dog!

dog climbed up on the chair and took the mushroom off the mantle. it was next to a bag of weed she didnt touch.
took me a little while to figure out what was wrong with her and I was going to take her to the vet. but I figured it out. knew it couldnt be fatal ,but probably not very comfortable .. shes fine today.
