I never got the Pawn Stars obsession. Haven't these people heard of Ebay? I could see pawn shops having a use before the internet but now a days why get screwed by someone who will only try to sell it for more then it is worth to another sucker?

Soo those hoses I like that expand and are easy to handle ....two have split open soo far from use ...they break right down the seam......I bought two more cause they are suppose to be improved 3x stronger and they should last another year

they all get paid for being on the show...even the sellers...even if they dont sell

its like judge judy where even the stupidest person who didnt win their case or deserve a cent gets paid....thats why they do it

 

and also not all the people walk into the pawn place to sell ....
sometimes the producers find interesting stuff on craigslist and call the seller and ask them if they would like to be on the show....
soo then the interesting item is shown and discussed while being showcased on their show

 

i like watching that pawn show from detroit....its funny and entertaining because its sooooo bad....so scripted and fake its ridiculous ....kind of like that show Z nation where the actual stupidity of the acting makes it interesting

 

only 7 converters in the pile but i think ill get rid of them

easier to store that money in wallet instead

 

im making meatloaf tonight. elk and beef. mashed potatoes. brussell sprouts. picked up a rotisserie chicken today, im going to break that down and start stock before i go to bed tonight, i got a bunch more carrots, so we will make some carrot juice and use the pulp in the stock, then strain out the floaty bits. soup tomorrow night. maybe homemade rolls if i feel like it.

we went negative the last 2 pay periods, so as soon as hubby got paid we were hit with late fees. sucks. i had cash to buy groceries today, been sitting on it. i think theres $30 left of that. just gotta make it to friday. at least i got meals planned. only think im going to need is some broccoli for a leftover casserole.

and its snowing. i have a very snuggly fleece cloak to snuggle in.

 

Elk.. I want to try this.. I made veal schnitzel for dinner last night, I have leftover piece to fit in some bread for snack shortly. =)

 

elk is rare here...they are trying to re-introduce wild ones but they like to walk the tracks and the trains always win


there is a farm though where you can buy it but its not the same as wild

 

i ordered soup today for lunch...i could tell the drivethru girl was pissed off at me because i yelled my order after she made me repeat it 3 times


when i got to the place i like to park and eat there was two plastic knives in the bag ...no spoon


she probably thought it would piss me off but i thought it was funny and i actually like people who have the balls to do that


hopefully she didnt spit in it ...

 

The ONE thing I have not done at McD's - and will not be able to do, ever! - is operate the drive-thru and that ding-dang head phone. OMG! I would be homicidal, at best.

I do good to understand the people that are in front of me ordering with their lip piercings, teeth grilles, floppy dentures but MOST of all the toothless ones that are determined not to talk above a faint whisper. I would just go ahead and have a pen and note pad ready for some, but I rather doubt those I have the hardest time understanding would be able to write any better.

There are others that I have a hard time listening to their order, but it is my fault as I can't get my mind off of whatever they have done to their face and ears and tongues. lol

 

in less than two weeks ,, I did everything at mcds, from the counter, to cook to drive thru to cleaning the outside.
a block away from 3rivers stadium they put me on during game time. I fixed everyone thick fries and kept getting busted by management to make them smaller. id put in extra nuggets, give shit away like mad. I didnt care. I wasnt staying there wouldnt be soon after the guys in the white army car picked me up at home and took me off to nam.. lol

 

I don't want or need free chips, though nuggets are appreciated. I just want 27 years of fucking sweet and sour sauce you assholes owe me! XD

The lady on the news (preview) just said "cold weather is coming down from CANADA" and something something something.

Today I went to the doc instead of work. She said I definitely have bronchitis. I told her I know 2 people that have had pneumonia in the past 2 weeks, with one I work with having "walking pneumonia".

The doc then said that's probably what you have. :yikes: She wrote me a script for antibiotics.

I'm off tomorrow and Wed, so I'm going to be better by Thurs, and not want to be coughing in the customer's faces. (I hope) As much as people LOVE to gripe and whine, I cannot comprehend WTH nobody wanted to complain about me coughing (into my arm or down in my shirt).
