Kids could haul bodies off with that toy. That kind of frightens me.

 

There is a crew of men (mostly too young for this, I'm thinking right now) working in the yard and the roof....well the roof blowing has now finished.

Yesterday my mother and I talked to this young man starting his own roofing, lawn/yard work business, previously of the roofing company that had worked for us...I probably need to call them and just ask about him, huh. That feels like a real duh moment.

Well, I told my mother before I went to work NOT to let them do anything yesterday afternoon, but wait until today. She said last night they "did a lot", which I couldn't tell they'd done much at all. HOWEVER, today they are at it.

mercy. They've already done as much as Mama's paid him for, imo.

Although there are 4 or 5 men and one boy, and its a two young men starting their own business, that scares me more than makes me "want to help". honest truth.

We've talked just before I came in here and am posting this. He won't let them work as long I I stand out there, and I wasn't interested in talking to him particularly. But I did have enough sense to tell him I didn't have any sense when they sprung this on me yesterday right before I starting getting ready to go to work. lol he smiled. I saw they they'd done a lot, especially with the roof, and the kid of about 12 or so was blowing around the porch and side walks. lordhavemercy.

He made a point to say he'd talked to my mother and she was fine with it. I deciced that since he claimed he had insurance and they were all dang better than my ass coming back from the chiropractor's, I would just let it damn be. #feelinglikeacodger

I don't care...I didn't want to watch nor see how the were going to limb a tree a get a broken, dead branch off Anyway. I asked him was he good on insurance or what...because I surely couldn't be providing any since I didn't have any!

He nicely says yes mam, I'll be fine. We'll be fine...I promise.

Godalmighty...that "I promise" didn't makes me feel any better. :-(

i was going to get into tree cutting , but the company I was interested in is full of asshole drunk football fans. i really cant work with anyone on that level. besides Ive belaying and repelling experience and they dont pay enough for me to quit weed for a month to kill trees for someone else.. Id be the lightest on that crew and assume id do the most work being the smallest , fuck that shit..
