put decorations up in the attic, trying to tidy up before hubby gets home. kid is at school, mom is at a thing. court, doctor, something important of that nature.

i did notice that the attic access ladder has a crack around one of the bolts. dont know how risky that is. just one more thing we've gotta replace. my dad says thats why mortgages are 30 years.

dog bite was leaking yesterday, the bad news kind. so i had to reopen it and clean it out again. i am glad to know how to do that properly, i always prefer not to use antibiotics. the body should be able to fight off most infections on its own. hubby's mom had a lot of problems, but what ultimately killed her was MRSA. it sounds like a disease on its own, thats what people think it is, but its just a staph infection that doesnt respond to antibiotics. theres not much we can do about antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria now though. oh well.

its pretty cold today, supposed to rain/ snow and be crappy.

i know guy that got mrsa after a heart surgery...it sure made a mess all the way to the top of his shoulder...

i swear that guy has 9 lives...and used most of them already

he's fighting something again but i dont ask ...mostly because he's lost so much weight its pretty obvious he has some kind of cancer and id rather just pretend i dont notice

if i was dying id prefer not having to talk about it all the time

 

But he could think about the Polar Ice Cap. Falsely even; let's say that the summer temperature is proven to have been over-all cooler again throughout the northern hemisphere. Get people excited at Greenpeace: that ice is melting in Patagonia instead.

 

actually the north ice cap contain the cold.. when melted the colder air is more easily shifted with the jet stream and forced south ..

 

The recipe specifically stated I would be making soft, gooey cookies. These turned out hard and crunchy. -.-

always trust alton brown. cant find the Good Eats episode where he talks about how to fix a cookie recipe.

 

Lol, I'm not too upset, still tastes awesome. They were awesome soft and gooey when I took them out to cool down, like almost too soft I thought.. But then they went concrete on me.

 

I'll be so happy when the election is over. SO SICK of the ads on TV, the flyers on the door, the phone calls (gotten several in the last few days)

 

Elections, somebody needs to collect all the paper they use, just in one local area and show everyone just how bad for the environment it all really is. Literally, they hand out flyers and have bins there so you can dump them straight away.. There's something wrong with that picture and, of course, the greens/envrio are absolutely no better with it. Grinds my gears. Though, I never actually vote with any seriousness but if I get harassed on the spot, whatever flyers get handed to me.. I do not vote for those people. =)

its nice that it all ends so quick...by next morning almost all the stupid signs had been picked up/removed

 

i get home and deja right there sitting at the entrance, ready to go outside...lol she usually on my bed when I get home.

she barks at me tell i take her outside... can tell she wants to run.. so i just go into the yard with a broom, or shovel and pretend like ima touch her and she just run circles around the property.

love when dogs do that. some do it right after a bath run circles in the house.
