Today is beautiful weather.

Yesterday, it was 45F, wind 15 mph, gusting to 30 mph; and we were out from 9 am to 9 pm supporting our triplet granddaughters as they played a softball tournament.

We came home to a house which was 60F which felt good (compared) but when I started feeling cold again I took my temperature and it was 96.3F

I slept warm though.

I would not want my dog getting into the refrigerator. She was a stray before I got her and she would eat just about anything. Or she might get the cat to jump in and then close the door.

im finally past the break even point on that trailer i parted out...so now the frame (which will probably be made into a nice car hauler next year) and all the pieces i kept are free and any pieces still for sale are bonus cash

 

Had a huge burnpile today, got rid of a bunch of scrap lumber and some of that rotted old barnwood that couldn't be salvaged. Saved what I could out of there but most of it was trashed.

Bedtime yet?

 

nearly bedtime here. as soon as the kid is asleep and hubby confirms that he made it to work ok. hes going to take the bus, so really i can crash as soon as he leaves.

i made soup. sauteed onion, celery, carrot. cauliflower, potato, corn, great northern beans. leftover chicken, mostly dark meat. chicken stock, a little milk. some instant potato flakes to thicken it a bit. seasonings.

turned out good. i had cheese on my second helping, that was extra-awesome.

 

I feel kind of mellowy and sort of spaced out...
