I know someone with one. She was going to junk it, couldn't get it to start, starter was good, but it wouldn't run.

Turned out the shifter linkage was some shitty little plastic thing, it broke so the cable was moving but wasen't pushing the selector on the transmission. Realized because it seemed to always be in neutral, it'd roll, even though it said drive.

Ziptie, and off and away again, to be a piece of rolling shit for years to come.

32 degrees out... 80 degrees in.

Still no ductwork but I added a fan to the door of the furnace room. It's still 100+ IN the furnace room.

Fed/watered a dumped dog at a rest stop earlier - three chicken legs and left him water. A mostly-grown puppy, medium small, with different colored eyes - a few days on his own, but good looking, with no collar. Couldn't get him to take chicken from my hand, and gave up after spending around an hour there. Also left him a dumpster blanket.

Someone asked if he was mine, and said something about animal control - but it's outside the city limits, so they may not get him, or may not hurry. If he stays there long enough and proves to be of good temperament, I'll take him, even though I really can't. Either way, I'll look out for him as long as he's there.

Then I got back in cell service and found out crazy baby momma allegedly tried calling me twice - kid wanted to see me, and she tries to set it up so I have to either play baby-sitter, or look like the bad guy who said no and didn't have time for my kid (this being her weekend with her - next being mine. 20 bucks says she tries to get in the way of that - keep her when I'm supposed to have her, push her off on me when I'm not, and if I mind I'm being unreasonable and bad to my kid). "it rang", so apparently I was obviously in service, or something crazy like that.

Just imagine when I try to meet girls, how that goes. Sort of explains why I spent an hour trying to pet a dog, I guess.

I just burnt my potatoes - and then realized I'm out of salmon, anyway.

I'm trying to pan-fry frozen oven fishsticks - was not going to wait for the oven and everything, when I have a hot pan.

And I missed yardsaling this morning.

Today sucked, I want my money back.

why you have no relationship with baby momma ?> i guess I can sort of understand. one dirty bitch ran off with my son , ive not heard high tailed of it of where either them may be. couldnt really care tho. i should of saved her dear john letters. they would of made good interboob reads. she was also a good con artist , liked to write letters to herself and claimed I wrote them. .. lol Ive not wrote a note to the store in 20yrs. good luck with that. last I heard she was in Phoenix Az..

You asked a question, and then proceeded to answer it as well as I could :p

Crazy, worldview/approach problems, unstable, manipulator, etc etc etc.

All I can really do is try to let the bummer be irrelevant to me, take care of what I need to, and shrug off what doesn't apply.

Though no matter how adept I become at that, it's a self-limiting thing, considering the bummer is the mother of my kid.

    Bye-bye, sexual/physical/mental/whatever prime.
