I saw a wacky hairdo for wacky hair day on pinterest.

 

We had some excitement around here tonight.

Hubby and I had just gotten home when we heard a bunch of sirens at the top of the street where it meets the two lane highway. Then I saw a search light coming down the street. We were talking to my d-i-l in the yard when I pieced it all together and told her to get back to her house and to lock the door.

It turns out the Dollar General store was robbed tonight. The poor cashier got hit in the head with a gun.

What makes it interesting is that the get- away car was parked in the top of our street waiting on the robber to come out of the store.

The cops were out here with search lights and stuff because reports said they'd come down in here; actually, they came all the way down, turned around and parked up there. I'm pretty sure they left the area but the cops had to search to make sure.

 

When I was a kid there was an escaped convict in my area. I had no idea what was going on, at 4 years old I had never seen SWAT teams before. I just remember my mother not letting me go outside but before that seeing a team of guys with masks and guns. Turns out the guy broke into a house a block over and took a hostage at gun point. He surprised a guy coming out of the shower.

 

The fucker still won his council seat, but at least Doug Ford is out of government for a while. He says that he is considering a run for leader of the provincial PCs, which would be great for the Liberals and NDP.

 

When I was 4 there were no SWAT teams

 

coffee, eggs, suited up... another shift out in the rain all day

 

hey my people...i am back!!! ok so it might not seem like i went anywhere but i was gone, trust me.

 

Yeah.... You're gone alright.

 

I'm up early, probably since I went to bed by 10:00 last night.

I get to work from 3 til 12 tonight...and it'll probably be more like 1am before I get out. Oh, the joys of determination not to be broke.

I got BB some already grown grass from Pet Smart Wed., and she is NOT interested in it. grrrrr I have to clip it for her, show it to her, and practically beg her to eat it. She'll eat a few strands seemingly just to pacify me for a moment. gad

I also got them (both cats) a scratch thing...which BB takes over as much as possible. Brownie seems to look at it like why should I worry with the scratch pad (I think it's called) when I can continue to tear up the coffee table. This morning I woke up to hearing Brownie RIPPING up yet more wood from the coffee table, which could once be seen in my sig pic. lol I got up and FUSSED...which did about as much good as water on a duck's back. He did stop though, then he promptly came and got in bed with me and climbed his fat self on top of me until I just gave up and got up. lol

 

I missed my coffee, and am starting to get a headache.

For some reason, when I'm at that point, making coffee seems like a terrible drag and I'm just not into it, even though I need it.

Once I start to get one it takes a huge amount to turn it around, anyway.

Guess I should go take care of that.

 

It is Halloween and I will have bunches of trick or treaters tonight between 5-8 :daisy:

 

Oh my! How in the world did I ever forget tonight is Halloween?!?

Lordymercy, I cannot imagine how much "character" I'll get to develop at work tonight.

Mama will have all the lights at the front of the house turned out. lol Its the only time of the entire year you won't be able to see lights on across the front.

 

Suggest permanent intravenous drip.

forecast was right...it appears to be 6 inches of snow covering everything

 

ug ethyl chloride headache. guess im not gay enough to huff this shit all night and day.. lol

 

I don't think we will get many if any kids. The houses are too far apart and not enough people in the area. I think the parents just drive them 20 minutes into the city suburbs. I won't be home anyway going to see Infected Mushroom tonight.

 

Boo.. most the shows tonight are to be halloween themed. but i might sleep thru most of them ..

 

The must'a let all the idiots out today and gave them car keys...
