My starter circuit decided to fuck up yesterday - I was at a kind of sketchy place, parked all ready to go and everything - and then had to get a push from the sketchy people.

It had a keyless thing installed by the previous owner, and they never fixed it right, had a pushbutton when I got it. I have the clutch interlock switch shorted (on account of being busted) and left their extra highly inaccessible fuse holder on the ignition - it's not sending anything to the starter, and it's blowing that fuse.

25 shitty non-LED fuses is 9 bucks - fuck bussman.

Starter itself is fine - so getting that back in and figuring out the wiring problem is the priority for the rest of today.

also good news on alternator found a new one for $190 with no tax .....most places said its not available other places wanted $500 or more ....that rebuild place has saved me a lot of money over the years...he has sources for weird stuff and doesnt mark up new stuff much because he makes a crapload off the local industrial places doing rebuilds


could have just got the regulator for $50 but might as well swap out the whole thing anyway because that old rotten housing is full of cracks and if it breaks again the engine has to be lowered to get it out

Ideally, but there are a lot of things that prevent women from coming forward, especially when the person they are accusing is relatively famous and high-profile.

 

People at my school are always doing things like leaving money at Tim Hortons and paying for the next few coffees or leaving a couple of dollars taped to a note that says "free coffee"... but then they post all over facebook about how they did it.
