the irony here, at least in my eyes, is that for the first 30 years of his life, jesus WAS a revolutionary/"insurgent", fighting against, not anything jewish, other then possibly some individual members of orthodox hierarchy, but against all things ROMAN. (the very grandoisity hitler seems to have admired and wished to emulate, including the ceasarian claim to godhood) and whatever else he may or may not have been, he damd sure WASN'T 'aryan', which of course, there was never any such thing as 'aryan' anyway. but i mean, he was clearly of middle eastern/aramaic stock, not anything even remotely resembling north western european.

absolutely. if western europe had been dominated by hindus or buddhists, islamist, anything, whatever, then the same thing would have applied to that, whatever it might have been.
but the point is, he DID exploit religious ORGANIZATION, and the INFLUENCE of religious organization. i agree it was absolutely and only circumstance, that the religious organiztions in question, happen to have been christian. pol pot, i believe may have exploited buddhism similarly, and the bokko haram, along with al quida and its verious affiliates to day, do so with islam.

(yet we see islam itself, so often being scape goated in the right wing corporate press, in exactly the same way hitler scapegoated judaism)
