Matching the birth data to someone who you haven't even met will prove to be a difficult thing. Not to mention if you just gave a Psychologist raw data without him meeting the person. He's not going to fully be able to understand. If you replaced Astrologers with Psychologists and horoscopes with a psychological chart in this control study I'm sure you would get similar results.

As was already said, the best relationship with Astrological charts in my opinion is to use it as a mirror for one's own self-understanding. To say that's not valid just because you feel it isn't valid is simply the reverse of the confirmation bias. And the confirmation bias DOES play a role in actuality, whether you believe or choose not to believe it's bullshit. I'd say you're right either way simply because of whatever you choose to believe. You create that actuality for yourself.
