i have read through a whole paper on "integrated information theory". i highly recommend a looking over. it is quite deep. this deals mostly with what mechanisms give rise to conscious states, but doesn't really touch what actually happens in the conscious state itself, only how it can possibly occur.

This is the homework YOU should be doing for YOUR own beliefs. I don't believe in astrology because I've already done this homework, but you believe in it without doing it. That's the problem.

Not really seeing anything here that's blowing my mind. Looks like this was the second EVER attempt to scientifically do any studies. Not sure how you equate that with "exhaustive" attempts like Scientists do for other stuff.

You also see Psychology as bullshit and while I would agree that the field could improve in the modern day, in no way does that discount the validity of the field of Psychology. Jung will always be my favorite for a host of reasons. There's a lot of bullshit going on from Scientists right now, as was already pointed out in that Aeon article I posted regarding "is Science broken?", but as you already said, that doesn't take away from the field of Science.

So basically this test shows that Astrologers can disagree, and that there is room for improvements, amendments, and different interpretations? Just like Scientists can? Ok.

 

From the conclussion of the abstract of the scientific article I posted:

Can you explain to me how this is "inconclussive"?
