The ability for language is and our language is informative, which means that it alters our condition. This is what elevates the condition self reflective awareness and it exists because of our symbiotic history with the cubensis psilocybe previously known as cubensis strophia. Taxonomically fungi are the transitional phase between plant and animal. We inherited the gaian mind through the plants which sustain all life on this planet. we know that plants are intimately responsive to the environment whereas we are dimly aware of it. If we are -very- liberal with our definitions of "ritual" and "encoded" then we could argue that it is actually. Here is a crude progression of causality:

DNA -> genotype -> phenotype -> behavior

Rituals (defined by me here as repetitive behavior having internal meaning and performed for a purpose) are seen even in simple life forms who perform mating rituals for example. Obsessive compulsive disorder is a fixation on rituals that is embedded quite deep into neural programming; tourettes syndrome is yet another more serious example of genetically encoded ritual.

Of course reaching back this far into the causal chain (all the way to DNA) is basically useless to explain or to use in our real world life; that is, until traditional science, through research, observation, and experimentation comes to a point where we can meaningfully engage with our DNA on a personal level.

Until that day comes, it doesn't really mean much to say "ritual is encoded in our dna". You could argue basically anything is encoded in DNA, or perhaps more correctly, is an emergent phenomenon from the substrate of organic molecules.

Just like this thread is "encoded in" silicon chips in a server somewhere.

 

i can't impress upon you enough that we twelve plus one and all iterations of human body issue from these. All we need is a group of twelve individuals and we can change the nature of time. This stuff has to be verbally transmitted to avoid translation errors. Writer, I have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Or atleast I have been self-diagnosed. I know myself. I know my history. It somehow evolved into ritual for me. Because it was always ritual. The thing about it is, real intentional ritual feels much more complete than the stress of OCD . It seems to have morphed into my own form of self-medicating myself (now you're asking yourself, "well, is it actually changing the manifestations of your life?")

I have been to a diagnosis center. I smoked weed beforehand, and the memory tests were at the beginning, and it was a Christian psychological diagnosis center, but I scored an average or above average on everything except the short term memory, which I would attribute to the marijuana but is also something that you can very much attribute to Kundalini if you look up people's accounts. I got less than 1 percent on short term memory from anyone who took the test according to the "doctor". Many people also tell me that I have terrible short term memory. Simple things such as remembering something that they recently told me. Short term memory problems are very attributed to Kundalini symptoms and just general "Spiritual Awakening" symptoms in general. On the other hand, I have stellar long-term memory and recall specific things that most others can't even begin to recall...very specific things. I can give you examples if you request. So since I'm drunk I finally spilled a little personal accounts. There's lots more but I'm not telling everything right now.

I've also been to regular non-Christian counselors. I've never been diagnosed with anything. Why didn't they diagnose me with OCD? Because I started going way after my "OCD" (I don't even really believe in mental illnesses...bold statement I know) was consciously at its worse in my life. It led me to Spirituality after a few years of a fallout with growing up Catholic (the occultist will always be right in between the scientist and the religious).

If you were to also research into Mars in Scorpio or Mars in Scorpio conjunct Pluto (astrology) you would also come across themes regarding OCD. I have these placements in my horoscope. In my genuine gut, whether it's right or wrong, I feel that the Science and the Astrology are inseparable. It's just that one of them has been forgotten about.

I don't even know my point here. But I will say that I liked your last post. I suppose I have been being too defensive and a bit of an asshole. You need to get that I want Science and Magick to meet. Kundalini is the key in my opinion. If you don't think that that is regarding our DNA and our active engagement with it then you are mistaken. And that's not a special thing for "holier than thou" people. Everyone has the evolutionary impulse. Eastern religion recognizes it as Kundalini, which they equate with the Holy Spirit of western Christianity. Science just needs to verify it, and actually TRY TO STUDY IT. Has this not been my whole point the entire time?
