The reward is not offered for merely spotting the entity . . . an outside observer has to be able to see it themselves, and in some sense touch it, and learn more about it. We can project any manner of things from our heads; for example a three headed unicorn. That doesn't mean three headed unicorns are real entities just because we can conceive of them. You will never find one on earth, in a museum, in the wild, or stuffed and mounted in someone's living room. This shows the fundamental difference between horses and unicorns; between entities we see while tripping on psychedelics and entities we see in the world that we can touch and learn about (through their bones, their diet, etc).

Also I don't think entity hallucinations are just a part of salvia and dmt, they have been reported on any psychedelic you like.

But of course when you tell someone "Hey man, here's that DMT i've been telling you about, I saw the CRAZIEST entities when I took it, just like that mckenna guy in the video we watched!" and then this person smokes it and sees entities . . . this is obviously a thought that has been planted in this persons head. If someone influential like mckenna swore they saw medusa's populating the DMT-scape I can tell you there would be countless trip reports on erowid of people seeing women with snakes for hair in their trips.

Our trips reflect the content of our minds; Mckenna's machine elves are a content of your mind. Is it so surprising that when you trip on the drug on which he claims he is able to see machine elves, you suddenly see machine elves? Surely there are simpler and more mundane explanations such as this, rather than sentient extra dimensional beings who visit drug users in their deliriums, inside their heads.

I'm surprised that you are a 3 with regards to machine elves. That's not too far from Chinacat being a 1 with Magick.

How do you reconcile criticizing chinacat for his beliefs in Magick versus your own beliefs in dmt elves? You both would argue that it is something you have experienced, therefore it's real. What's the difference here?

Never said entities were only a part of Salvia and DMT but if I would go with those 2 for evidence, if this nanotechnology could project the experience of the psychedelic state. By projector, We are suggesting that an outsider observer could see them, I don't know about touch necessarily. But We could start making the variables harder and harder to see Dolphins too, like suggesting we can't go to amusement parks to see them and what not. Assuming that the nanotechnology could also record dreams, you can match the the observational patterns of sleep vs. DMT and see if there are significant differences in orginization, speed of formation, etc. etc.

I'm not placing DMT elves on the same footing as science. I've got no impression from the DMT experience, that it is such that can be controlled in terms of influencing the reality around us, in the way China suggests Magick can.

Also the nanotechnology would be a product of Science, so it would be a scientific discovery.

Writer you make a good point with your latest post towards me but the thing is that even Kundalini research has been pushed for to be studied and it simply has been pushed into the pseudo-science realm and you can't blame the people that are pushing for the research for that. That's what I mean by the collective world-view paradigm of modern Science. They kind of have a say in how we view reality and what is accepted and what should and shouldn't be studied. I'm sure that there's a lot more to it than that but that's where my angle is coming from.
