emo really bothers me, not because they like being sad, but because they all act the fuckin same. They dress the same, they all have myspaces with b&w pictures taken by themselves. They all have dyed black hair and wear shirts that are meant for 7 year old girls. I especially hate that whenever they spell a word, they put Xes around it (ex: xXbabyblueEYesxX). They all do that shit, be original you fuckin robots.
i think we mostly all agree... emo sucks. its a fact. true emo kids are ok i guess, but the ones that cut themselves for attention and stuff should be spat on. drop emo/scremo or whatever shit u listen to and go listen to soem good oldschool punk rock.
What I found funny is that I found out today from my friend that The Mars Volta used to be a screamo band called "At The Drive-In". Now they're a cool art-rock band. I guess some faggot emo guys can change for the better.
everyone keeps saying "the emos are taking over" but to be honest I have never actually met an sterotypical emo. Sure there were some kids in my school who did wear black alot but they were more punk/goth than emo
when you say emo do you mean Dashboard Confesstional type emo thats on MTV(I'll cut myself and cry in the dark because my girlfirend broke up with me) and screamo or Rites of Spring 1980s very very close to punk emo(emocore I think they call it) or both
emocore isnt that bad... but dashbord confesional and stuff like that is really not music... their lyrics are fucking lame and they need to get a life even though a lot of people actually like them... i think the real emo stuff derived from wannabe punk rockers that couldnt make their music good enough
uhh...how am i stupid? I just stated a fact about a band that I like and that they changed their music for the better, according to me. Some people might like The Mars Volta before, when they were screamo, and some people, like me, who like them now. I don't see how I can be supid for saying that.
