Hey, did any of you catch the president's speech when he hinted that the riots would "make for good television?" A Freudian slip perhaps?
So basically Michael Browns own actions led to his death. I don't see a problem with that. Sure, it is very sad that a life was lost, but if you don't want trouble with stupid cops, don't be a criminal, don't rob. The guy was obviously looking for trouble :-/
This guy brings up some excellent points!! Basically, at this point, if you're still buying into the "racist" bullshit you're a moron. http://youtu.be/oE2MmvowRag
I can't believe the small minded discussions here over this. it's just what your oppressors want. "No big picture here folks, just keep with those base emotions and forget about everything else"
This was an unfortunate 1-on-1 encounter and has all kinds of causal factors on BOTH sides. Instead of examining that and learning from it, we have riots (though very 1-sided). I realize Holder is not in his seat anymore, but he still has a voice in this. Obama has the biggest voice of all and is doing very little to contain this. He's educated enough to see the truth, so I can only conclude that he is also part of the system that oppresses Americans. He's just using that oppression in a different way. One that benefits his agenda. The riots provide ample fodder for the REAL racists who are thankfully a minor part of the American public. Ferguson does no good by falling into this state. This is not an effective protest against injustice. It's a shame, but fighting with a cop can and will get you killed. I avoid them entirely. This is the world we find ourselves in. It won't change quickly. Forcing that change isn't working either.
yeah, that's not how the american justice system is supposed to work. maybe in croatia...but here, it's shouldn't be "break the law - get murdered by the police"
Oakland, CA went a little ape shit. By midnight, protesters had ignited large fires on a street in downtown Oakland and looters could be seen breaking into several stores. Inside a Metro PCS store, one woman tossed packages through a smashed glass door to gathered crowds. Down the street, young men hurled beer bottles at people passing bye. http://online.wsj.com/articles/u-s-cities-prepare-for-reaction-to-ferguson-grand-jury-decision-1416874256
When you attack a police office and try to get his gun and then charge the officer then yes you will get shot.
What is it about wanting to express anger toward the justice system that causes criminals to set businesses and cars ablaze, and to loot businesses? The two aren't connected. Look at this video. That looks like a line of cars, for sale on a lot, that are burning. http://player.theplatform.com/p/2E2eJC/nbcNewsOffsite?guid=x_lon_business_141125
Yeah, it's here in the article with some of the released testimony from Officer Wilson. http://www.thenewcivilrightsmovement.com/davidbadash/_it_looks_like_a_demon_thats_how_darren_wilson_described_michael_brown
