Church of the Good Earth 1963 and Beyond

I'm flattered Hillbilly, but I am not exclusive to that mind set.. I mean you can't stereotype even hippies. There were/are many facets in that diamond. There are 'Peace Freaks, Radicals, Activist, Non- conformists ,Libertarians, Gypsies, Constitutionalists, Freedom Fighters you name it, we had it. We all had their different ideologies but had common ground when it came to freedom.

It was a group effort when it came to standing up for what is right. no matter who you are or who they are you are standing up against. So, if credit is ever due, give it to the Spirit Of The Universe.

 

Yeah I know, I like to think there are as many different type of hippies as there are people lol

 

My good earth friends...!! As you all by now the fair was everything I hoped it wood be...!!!! Everyone we touched... Everything we saw and experienced was a dream come true....being able to see at least one of my boys.... Linda finally got to put the names with the faces... I've been telling her about all of you for many years now.... Spent one nite with Kathy and spud in Ashland.....and then of course we traveled east of Ashland to glass mt and medicine lake... Linda and eye wood like to give our warmest regards to..... Chris wah and shiela... Nancy and mike silva.. heather and mouseman...chuck mf... Zev...,Terry Lane....it was an adventure in the life... Stopped off in cayonville to see Bruce and Joanne.... And javelin......Her home town is the same as mine. Pleasant hill/ Martinez ...California.... R u kidding me....!!. We also stopped to see Daryl and Kathy in Roseburg... I'll be posting fotos and updates and music videos....of the fair and our vacation... by the way Alice is the one who sited these reason for deleting me on Facebook.... But don't take it personal........I didn't accept her in the first place on Facebook Linda did... To try to keep in touch with the boys... Lol. Great ...good riddance....!!! Mary .... Being your smoke signals reporter I didn't hear any smack about you at all..... And if I did I wood cram their words down their throats....!!! U can count on that.....!!! Linda is anxious to meet her..! Such a kind soul.....and a wonderful lady...!!! Ofcourse I'll take fotos... She told me if her job does not let her go to the Oregon Country Fair next year she's quitting... Good show.......!!!!! Mike.... I took your sea glass piece to the fair..... To show it off....!!! I get that, but is there an actual physical location/commune, like if someone became homeless or needed a place to stay whatever like back in the 69s

I am posting this for the record. We are a church because we say we are. We, the congregation have the say as to who ministers to us. Why would we send our ministers to another church for training?

 

You may be my minister, Mary, because I give you that position. Not the ULC, not the government, not anybody. My choice as a member of this church. As they say in AA, I am a member because I say I am. If I wanted to be ministered to by the ULC, I would go there. Since I am here, that is obviously not my choice. So why should you be required to be recognized by them to minister here?

 

Strange & mysterious are the ways of the IRS and you know what they say about 'them that have the gold and the guns'.

 

Not by them, as in ULC, but the them as in the fed, that are wanting the information for their federal records The form asks for a minister/clergymen and where they studied.

That was one of the questions on the form.

 

So are they saying we can not be a church if you are not a "licensed minister?"

 

I hereby ordain you. Like some of the rest of us, your training was received in the Haight.

 

Or on the streets and highways of the world.

 

And people wonder why I am the way I am.

 

Tell them you got your training from ....the universe...

 

I just remember them on the off chance I have a bridge I want to sell.
